"I can guarantee that Rustan did not have any interest in acquiring power. Therefore, I would ask that you refrain from saying that he is a disreputable individual because he is not. In order for you to accuse Rustan of such a thing, you almost don't know him at all. Joven promptly said as though what he heard from Aamon was not really sitting well with him.

Despite the fact that he was on the edge of bursting out to defend Rustan against Aamon's vicious charge, Joven gave some attention to the fact that Aamon was also a friend of his, which is why he simply could not just leap to conclusions and start a disagreement with Aamon in the end.
