Now the news about the contest between the white magicians and the dark magicians at the inn in Rolfe spread throughout the whole of Gouna and it tingled in the ears of every man that heard of it. So many of the inhabitants of Gouna were not happy to hear the white magicians had the opportunity to kill such number of dark mages but yet they did not, instead they allowed to walk away. Even the emperor and his governors were not pleased to hear this. They have been working endlessly to reduce the number of their enemies and hearing that the mages who were working with had that opportunity and gave it away did not sound good to them in any way. And this made them question the mages as to why they did such. But the magicians may have it, their answer to the questions of the leaders and people was that mages and mere men had different ways and the ways of magicians could hardly be understood by them. When Elek and Tyra returned from the field, they met Greg resting in the garden as he enjoyed the fresh breeze of the evening. And then they walked up to the spot where he sat on a bench, and both greeted him in unison with a slight sign of happiness showing in their faces. And Greg was able to take notice of the joy in the faces so he guessed what must have caused that joy of theirs. "Elek was able to master a good number of spells today, right?" And they both nodded their heads but their facial expression still showed that his guess was not the reason behind their gladness, and Greg also was able to notice this and at the same time he had no other suggestions as to why they portray such joy. Coming back to the city of Babb, Verona and Godric were now with Ned and Demi. And they had come to put their powers to the test justas dark lord Kees had instructed them. "You have been asking for the same information for quite a long period of time now. And I have told you times without numbers that I do not have the information you seek, yet you still bother us. If you are so such that there are sorcerers who could bring you and your lord to justice, why not go out there, and find them yourself." Soon after they left the cage, they were with lord Kees again in the coven. But this time, it was not his spirit that was present with them, rather it was his physical form, for he had come to carry on with his evil agendas. "My lord, you are here already?" Verona asked him out of surprise. For he was already in the coven waiting for them, because he knew that they would not be able to draw words from Demi. "Yes, I have come to do things myself. That is, the empire will know who they are up against." Lord Kees answered. Then both Verona and Godric fell on their faces and worshiped him as they chorused. "Welcome my lord." And when they rose back to their feets, he asked them. "Have you gotten the information which I asked you to get from Demi?" "No my lord," Godric stammered. "From the look of things, I don't think she's ever going to tell us the identity of those sorcerers, if at all she knows them." Then lord Kees interpreted his words carefully and asked him angrily. "Yes Ned, I am sorry we can't come there because our powers are useless there." Craig itemized, and then he felt the disappointment which those words had caused in the system of both Demi and Ned, right from where he was in the city of Raia. Then he further informed them. "There are only two ways for you to get out of there. First, is if the army comes in to rescue you which will definitely take a lot of lives but might still end in failure because dark magicians will be all over. Secondly, is if the dark lord is killed." "And how do you and the others plan to defeat dark lord Kees?" Ned asked, for he desperately wanted to leave that cage. So Craig answered, "We have no plans concerning that. For it is the duty of the last sorcerers to plan his defeat." Then Ned was surprised to hear of the last sorcerers from Craig, so he asked to be sure that he had heard correctly. "What sorcerers?" "The wizard according to the prophecy and a witch who is to accompany him." Craig answered and th

Some hours later, after the gathering of the dark magicians, lord Kees then meets with Ned and Demi in the cage, along with Verona and Godric. After the cage was opened, Ned then raised his face which was stationed towards the ground. And immediately he saw the dark lord with Verona and Godric, he repositioned to a kneeling posture and said. "My lord." And the whole display was so shocking to Demi, that she did not understand what was going on. Therefore she asked Ned in confusion. "What is going on?" But then, it was Kees who replied, "His time with the white magicians is over. You have lost his trust, and he can not work with those that keep secrets from him." Afterwards, he then referred to Ned. "You can rise." When Kees was done with his response to Demi, Verona and Godric were both confused as much as Demi, because they did not understand what was going on. So Godric referred to Kees. "My lord, can you please put us through? Your words have left us in confusion." "Ned, tell

And she began, "The names of the last sorcerers are Elek, the son of Peder and Tyra the daughter of Peder's brother, Greg. They are the descendants of great wizard Kaapro, who lead you to the underworld." She paused and Kees was shocked as he heard whose descendants they were. Then Demi continued. "They are in the city of Meo and that is where they have been carrying out all their training. They are living with Greg, and he has been teaching them the little he learnt about magic during his days." When they heard of the city which the sorcerers were also, they were all grieved with shock, because their identity and location was one that would never be imagined. Thus Ned said with slight doubt in his heart that she was lying. "That is a lie. Peder was the last descendant of Kaapro to ever wield magical powers. And even if Elek was favored with magic for the sake of his mother who was also a witch, Tyra, on the other hand, could never have magical powers because both her mother and fathe

Now in the city of Meo, Greg and the two young magicians had just returned from the field, where they had been all day, practicing their powers under the instruction of Greg. After they had gone inside the house, the dark lord, Verona, Godric and Ned appeared at the front of the compound and they walked into the yard. Getting to the front door of the house, Ned banged on the door, and it was so loud and the manner in which he banged on the door was unusual and frightening. Then Greg encouraged Elek and Tyra not to panic, making use of sign language, while he went close to the door and peeped to see who it was that banged their door in such a manner. When he had checked and saw the face of Ned, he opened the door with the thought that Ned was still the same person which he knew as. Immediately the door was unlocked from the inside by Greg, Ned then forcefully pushed the door open, causing it to hit Greg to the floor. And then he walked in with the dark lord Kees, Verona and Godric.
