At twilight the following morning, the dark lord's army was fully set for the attack. All his magicians and soldiers were already assembled together, waiting for the dark lord and Verona to give the command, by opening the portal which would take them to the city to be conquered.When lord Kees and his mistress came forth to meet the prepared soldiers and magicians, they did not see it necessary to debate on which city to attack since they had already slated Rolfe to be conquered.So, the magical portal was created due to a joint incantation made by dark lord Kees, Verona, Godric and Ned.Afterwards, they began to walk through the portal and appear in an open field in the city of Rolfe. After a long while, the dark army realized that one amongst their leader was missing in their midst and her absence really demurred them, causing them to have a lower hand in the fight.The white magicians also noticed the absence of Elek and Tyra, but it did not affect them in any way, because Demi concluded that they had stubbornly gone to take over the Babb all by themselves. So they did not raise any form of alarm about their whereabouts because it would cause the dark lord and his army to change the course of their fight and return to Babb. Now in the city of Babb, after the dark lord and his army had returned from fighting. They began a very serious and intense search for Verona because lord Kees was fully sure that Verona did not fall in battle.Aside from the search for Verona, Lord Kees did not give his magicians any little time to rest. He was so annoyed within himself, as he thought and believed that someone in their midst was working against him. No words concerning Verona and her imprisonment were told to any mere man, not even the emperor nor governors.When the white magicians noticed the depression that was going on in the city of the dark lord, Babb and Narain, because of the missing Verona. They saw it as the best time to attack one of those cities, so as to reclaim and restore it. In the cool of the evening, Ned and Godric went to meet lord Kees concerning the things which the younger dark magicians told them about.When they entered the closet where the dark lord was busy, thinking his head out.
