On this journey, as they head North, an alien spaceship was heard coming. It has now become a tradition for the alien spaceships to be hovering around the cities and States of America as they looked out for survivors to kill, and this has made the entire country to be quiet, with everyone hiding in doors. Even as people hid inside their houses, the aliens would still break into any home where noises are heard and would kill all life in it.

Therefore when the spaceship was heard coming, they had to look for shelter at once, running into one of the houses along the streets, because keeping off the streets was the best means of survival.
