Chapter 18

Inside James went and she banged the door behind him. This is the time he saw hell. The noise from the door echoed around the small dark cube in the name of a room without anywhere to escape through. The room was almost twelve feet high and had a small window the size of an A4 paper at the very top.

This automatically put sunlight and fresh air in the tertiary class of necessities. He could hardly see the person next to him. His eyes had not yet adjusted to the darkness in the cube. In fact, the room was so dark that he could hardly tell day and night. This was not all. The odor from the room was to another level. It smelled so awful. This was because; the room did not only serve as a holding cell but also the sanitation. There was a small bucket at one end of the room and that was the sanitation.
