The moment Alex got to the door, he continued to knock frantically but no one was coming to open the door and neither was Bianca answering her phone. His heart was already beating fast against his rib cage as he continued to knock. “Knock knock” Clarrisa gently knocked on her father’s study door and he looked up from the document he was reading. Gerald’s lips curled into a smile when he saw his favorite person standing by the door looking all happy. Well, why wouldn’t she be? The news of Alexander Chase's housewarming party was already all over the news and Clarrisa being a bitch and a murderer was old news. The hall was already filled up when Alex led her into the house and she could tell the amount of things he had to put in place to make the party a success. The time was already past eleven when the guests began to disperse, it was a fun filled party and everyone enjoyed it especially Alex. He was happy that he was able to make his father’s house lively again after many years of solitary. For one night he forgot about his revenge plans and was genuinely happy. This was the only property that belonged to his family that he knew off and this was where he was going to live now. Overall, the night was a success.After the last guest was gone, he was left with his fiancée and her family and that was when the instincts of his revenge came back.
