CHAPTER TWENTY FOUR.

Clarissa woke up to the ringing of her phone which made her frown. Why was her assistant calling her all of a sudden and how many calls did she miss?

“Hello” she pressed the phone against her ears.

“Ma’am, have you already seen it?”

Clarrisa raised an eyebrow, “see what?”

Her assistant hesitated for a while, “a video is circulating online about you and ….” Her voice trailed off.

“What happened, Ann?” Clarrisa was almost shouting.

Just then her door burst open and her whole family entered. They all looked sad and scared, especially her mum who came to sit beside her.

“What is going on?” She asked, “why do you all look so worried?”

“I am sorry princess” Gerald said after a while, a look of guilt was hovering over his face.

Now Clarrisa was very confused, “can someone tell me what’s going on?” She turned to her mother, “mum, say something”

Her phone beeped with a message and she immediately picked up her phone and clicked on the link that her assistant had sent.
