33. The Company Anniversary I

Barney cleared his throat and responded. "The fingerprint does not match anyone on the company, sir. If the person is not in this company, then where might they be?"

"What? How come?" Alex frowned, shocked. The fingerprint matched no one's?

He got lost in thought, before snapping out. "No, he has to be here, there is something we are missing," said Alex.

"Isn't it interesting?" asked Barney, also with a frown. He was also not convinced about the results.

"No, it's disturbing," Alex replied. "We must find out before it's too late," he suggested, cracking his knuckles and putting his hands on his desk. "Or let's do one thing."

"Let's set a trap for the person," he said. But suddenly he paused. "Fuck."

"Is there a problem?" Barney jolted, eyes widened as he scanned Alex for any sign of pain.

"Yes, I'm feeling pain in my chest," Alex said, putting his hands on his chest and squeezing his face.
