Time: 08:25:32 AMLocation: ASO ROCKAso Rock, a majestic granitic outcrop on the outskirts of Abuja, Nigeria's capital, loomed tall and proud. Rising 400 meters above the ground, with a peak height of 936 meters above sea level, it stood as a prominent monolith, a symbol of the city. The level of security surrounding this important location was unparalleled, boasting more than 200 vigilant security agents, including police, army, DSS, and others.Inside the President's office, a well-arranged room displayed the aura of a leader dedicated to education. A portrait of the President adorned one wall, while a bookshelf filled with various volumes hinted at his passion for learning. At the far end of the room, a resolute desk stood, a symbol of strength and determination. The office's three south-facing windows were fortified with bulletproof glass, adding an extra layer of protection. Concrete walls served as a formidable barrier against potential threats. The President himself, attired in a sophisticated black designer suit with a tasteful tie, emanated a calm and religious demeanour. His countenance, however, concealed a sharp intellect that belied some misconceptions about his background. Contrary to popular belief, he hailed from the city of Kaduna, a centre of learning.(Description of the President's background) In his earlier days, as a young boy, he toiled as a farmer to support his impoverished family. As the eldest of three siblings, he shouldered the burden of providing for them after their father's untimely demise due to a lack of financial means to afford proper medical treatment. His mother, now a widow, became a humble trader at a small stall in the bustling Kaduna market. Their situation changed dramatically when his farming venture unexpectedly thrived, and they emerged as prominent suppliers of farm produce. On one of those occasions, a very good customer who came from a city in America noticed that he was a well-spoken man. He was brilliant in his dealings and as well many other things. After striking up a conversation with him, it was then the American man realized that he went to high school but was a dropout. The American man then decided to sponsor him to study in the United States, leading to a life of remarkable transformation.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~It was early morning, and the President stood a few meters away from the TV on the wall. With his hands thoughtfully tucked into his pockets, he attentively listened to the news broadcast. The reporter's voice filled the room as she spoke about the tragic attack that had shaken Lagos in recent days."After many days of the dreaded attack in the heart of Lagos, investigations are still underway to apprehend the perpetrators behind the murderous acts that resulted in significant loss of life and property. The security agencies assure the nation that those responsible will be brought to justice by the end of the week," the reporter said.Just as he was engrossed in the news, the TV suddenly went dark. Surprised, the President turned around to find his chief of staff, Yakubu, standing at the entrance to the office."Mr President, you're not supposed to be watching this," Yakubu remarked, placing the remote on the table as he approached. With a slight nod, the President replied, "How long have you been watching me?""Long enough to see that you don't look good, sir. I understand your concern about the security of our people and our country, but that's why we have dedicated security agencies handling these matters," Yakubu said, pushing back a chair that emitted a faint noise.Mr President leaned forward with his hands on the table, his gaze fixed on Yakubu. "Okay, now tell me, as my chief of staff, how long should we wait for answers? These attacks occurred last week, and there's still no concrete report on my desk. All I see are the IGP's speeches, and frankly, it seems like a charade to me."With a firm and precise gesture, Yakubu responded, "Mr President, the security agencies are diligently working on identifying and apprehending the culprits, but these matters take time."Resting back in his seat, Mr President interlocked his fingers, narrowing his eyes as he looked at Yakubu with a hint of a smile."You know what?" Mr President said, tapping the table lightly. "I want you to prove to me that I made the right choice in trusting you as my chief of staff."Yakubu's mind raced as he pondered the President's words. "Mr President, I am genuinely grateful for the opportunity you've given me, and I assure you that before the end of the hour, you will have a comprehensive report," he responded earnestly."I believe you," the President replied, standing up and walking toward the doors, intending to speak to the guards outside. He requested privacy, and the guards respectfully moved away, allowing him to close the door.Returning to his favourite sofa, Mr President sat with his legs crossed, and Yakubu took a seat in front of him."Musa," Mr President called Yakubu by his first name, "when I became the President of this republic, my mission was, and still is, to serve the nation diligently, eradicate corruption, provide free education for all Nigerian children, and improve the lives of our citizens. But on my arrival, I realized that achieving these goals would be challenging. The government seems compromised, and I find it hard to trust even my own family. Yet, Musa, you've been with me since our days in Kaduna, and your loyalty and diligence are beyond question. That's why I appointed you as my chief of staff."Yakubu listened intently, nodding as the President spoke."I need you to show me that I made the right decision by trusting you," the President continued, leaning forward and fixing his gaze on Yakubu."Mr President, I don't know what to say. I am genuinely grateful for your trust in me, and I assure you that I won't let you down," Yakubu replied, looking earnestly into the President's eyes. With a smile, the President straightened up and said, "I believe in you, Musa. Just remember, this country needs a leader like me, and it needs you, too.""I won't fail you, Mr President," Yakubu assured, bowing slightly before leaving the office. As he headed down the hallway, Yakubu pulled out his phone and made a call."Yes, this is the chief of staff to the president. I'll like to speak to the director in charge of the FBI headquarter. Tell him it's urgent" Urgency emanated from his voice as he spoke to the person at the other end. He needed to speak to the director in charge of the FBI headquarters. There were crucial matters at hand, and he was determined to fulfil the trust the President had placed in him.....A/N: Someone is in trouble 🤭 Guys tell me how you feel about this chapter. don't forget to support us with your gifts#Fbi #Lagos #lead #Billwilliams #KendraDanielsTime: 8:34:23 AM Location: Federal Bureau of Investigation branch situated in the capital of Lagos. The FBI's branch in Lagos stood tall and imposing across the Allen axis, boasting an impressive 2,800,876 square feet (260,210 m2) of internal space. The design of the structure featured a distinctive eight-story height on the northwest side and eleven stories on the southeast side. Hakeem rushed into the building, his heart pounding. He navigated through security and made his way toward the cortex, clutching a white coffee cup in one hand and a stack of paperwork in the other. His brown handbag dangled from his shoulder. Hakeem has the look of a typical Lagos boy, but he hailed from Katsina state, much like a Canadian actress with roots in Pakistan. As he approached the entrance to the cortex, he noticed there was no guard on duty. In a hurry, he pushed the glass door with his shoulder, spilling some coffee in the process. He quickened his pace to his desk, hoping to avoid Bill's scrutiny. But fate had other plans; he accidentally bumped into Nick, who was heading to a meeting. Coffee splashed; papers scattered. "Woah! What kind of virus are we talking about?" His question hung in the air, momentarily silencing Bill and his coworkers. Ben let out a sigh before delivering the unsettling news. "Sir, I'm sorry to say, but we're dealing with something we all know as the coronavirus." His words fell like a lead weight, and disbelief swept over the faces of Mr. President and his cabinet. The Chief of Army Staff, who had leaned forward, now sank back into his chair, a narrow look etched on his face. Still in shock, the governor, connected via video link from Lagos, muttered, "Mr. John, if I heard you correctly, you're saying there's a deadly virus, known as the coronavirus, right here in our city, ready to be released?" Ben affirmed the grim truth, "Yes, Mr. Governor." His sharp response left the entire cabinet in a state of disarray

With a sigh, she walked up the steps and then stood in front of his room. With an inhale, she placed a single knock on his door. It was then she realized that the door wasn't locked as it opened a little. She tilted her head a bit into the space and saw sam on the bed."Sam!
