Ryvan arrived at the Claire’s Manor quickly, and there was already a servant waiting for him at the door.

As he was led to a girl’s bedroom on the third floor, he smelled various medicines filling the room, and saw a pale sleeping beauty on the bed quietly.

Her delicate face attracted Ryvan’s eyes. Arabella's stunning beauty had already taken his breath away, but he hadn’t anticipated Dave’s daughter was even prettier.

Unfortunately, she was seriously ill, and it seemed that she couldn’t survive the next day.

Eva’s mother, Linda was looking at her daughter with concern. She was holding back her tears.

Having known Ryvan’s identity, Kelvin Claire, who stood beside him, asked, "Dude, so you are the doctor that my father invited?" His eyes were full of suspicion.

“Sure.” Ryvan nodded his head and stepped forward, preparing to save the girl.

“Wait...What are you doing? Keep distance from my sister!” Kelvin shouted and blocked Ryvan.

"She doesn't have much time and must get immediate treatment!" Ryvan frowned and replied.

"No, stop your risky actions. Just wait there and I won’t expel you out for the sake of my father. But I can't trust such a young man like you to treat my sister. I've already invited the renowned Doctor Lee from the capital city. He'll save Eva!"

Linda agreed with her son’s decision by remaining silent.

Ryvan felt very unhappy!

What the hell is Dave Claire doing? Is this the attitude of begging him for saving people?

If it weren't for the fact that Dave is a peripheral member of the Crested Knights, he would have left directly.

After a while, Dr. Lee finally arrived.

"Dr. Lee, you're finally here. Please save my poor sister." Kelvin pleaded.

"I will." Dr. Lee nodded his head seriously.

"Not a big deal, it's just a myocardial infarction, I will cure her with some medicines and treatment." He said with a smile.

Kelvin and Linda were both delighted when they heard Dr. Lee’s promise.

"See that, dude? You should learn from Dr. Lee. Now that you are invited by my father, I’ll introduce you to Dr. Lee after the treatment. Maybe he'll take you on as his assistant doctor." Kelvin said.

Dr. Lee took out a tube of potion and was ready to inject the patient.

However, Ryvan interrupted, "You'll kill her if you do that!"

Dr. Lee stopped and looked at Ryvan, frowning his brows.

He was displeased that a young man was questioning his medical skills.

Kelvin was furious. "Stop bullshitting! Dr. Lee is the deputy chairman of the Medical Association? You are not qualified to question him!"

"You'll regret it!" Ryvan said.

"Shut up. I'll come back to you later," Kelvin said fiercely, thinking Ryvan was very unreasonable.

He turned to Dr. Lee and said, “Dr. Lee, go on with it, please.”

Dr. Lee then injected the potion into the targeted spot quickly and accurately.

There was no doubt that he had precise judgment.

But unluckily, he had made the wrong diagnosis.

It’s not the Myocardial Infarction!

The potion would deteriorate of the condition of the patient. And the patient would eventually die earlier.

Linda stared at her daughter nervously.

"Three...Two...One..." Ryvan started counting down.

No one knew what he meant, but Eva paled even worse, trembling much more violently as Ryvan counted to the number one.

Suddenly, her EKG became a straight line as Ryvan counted to Zero!

"Eva! Eva!" Linda shouted her daughter’s name hysterically, trying to wake up her daughter.

"What happened? Dr. Lee, do something!" Kelvin grabbed Dr. Lee by the collar and shook him.

"I don't know. It shouldn't be this..." Dr. Lee was also in a panic.

"Fuck! You're the doctor! What do you mean you don't know?!" Kelvin roared.

His father would kill him if he messed up the treatment for Eva.

He was very scared, thinking he might have led to his younger sister's death.

Ryvan was right that he had made a wrong decision!

At this moment, Dave Claire finally returned...

When he arrived and saw Ryvan, he asked anxiously, "Cap—Mr. Kesley, how is Eva?"

"You should ask him." Ryvan shook his head and pointed at Kelvin.

"Kelvin? What happened?" Dave frowned, feeling confused.

Kelvin was scared by his father's scolding. He lowered his head to him but his body kept shaking.

Dr. Lee sighed, "Mr. Claire, I feel so sorry. I failed to save your daughter. She passed away just now."
