Ambitious! : Part 7 : Andrea Meet Lily

"Dissolve sleeping pills in the milk."

Nina carried out Zidane's orders. The milk drink became a regular thing that Nina prepared for Lily, the young daughter of Obelix always consumed it because it contained the amino acid tryptophan. A sleeping solution only helps the process go faster.

Nina delivered the milk, and she knocked on the door. Herad Lily's voice permitted me to enter the room. Nina placed a glass of milk on the small table beside Lily, standing by the window.

"Nina, look. There is a polaris! I want to see sigma octantis. Where is it?"

Lily spoke without asking Nina for a response. She just wanted to be heard.

"Miss, please have a drink." 

"It's still not too late, is it? I still want to look at polaris."

"You can see it after drinking milk, Miss. I can't stay and accompany Miss to remind Miss to drink milk."

Lily sighed. She took the glass and drank the milk until she finished it. Nina lowered her head before stepping out of the room.

The drowsiness that hit her made Lily lose her balance due to nervous weakness when reacting to the drinks' two substances.

"I still want to see polaris, but I'm sleepy."

Lily limped to her bed, lay down on her body, and covered herself to block off the cold air particles from the air conditioner.

Her eyelids closed completely, and soft snoring was heard, accompanying Lily's journey into the dream world.

The main door opened, and Zidan saw Kenzo enter the house with the respect of the servants at every step.

"How is research progressing, Minister of Technology and Research?"

Kenzo stopped in his tracks, "Please wait for the report on the set schedule, President," he said without looking at Zidan.

The conversation that seemed unlike father and son created an atmosphere of tension that the servants felt. They lowered their heads even more, reluctant to move an inch.

"Polaris."

Kenzo didn't like Zidane's smile, which was the first reaction of their one-word further conversation.

"I knew that. That's why Lily was asleep."

Kenzo cleared his throat, "You did an excellent job limiting my interactions with my little sister."

Zidan chuckled, "Little sister, huh? I didn't think of her that way when you made her the object of your curiosity."

Kenzo glanced at Zidan. He looked calm in his position.

"Don't make her take sleeping pills. The amino acid tryptophan is enough to make her fall asleep. It will harm her. If you really protect her, then do it. She won't act recklessly around you."

In the morning, activities went on as usual. The only difference lies in the situation where Lily meets Andrea at the school gate. The girl looked at Andrea questioningly because she didn't fully know Kenzo's friends except for Yohannes.

"Who is it?"

While Andrea smiled kindly at her without starting a conversation, "I am Andrea Thus Veloka, your brother's friend. Nice to meet you, Lily."

"Oh?"

Andrea nodded her head. Lily just stared without replying to Andrea's greeting. She saw her driver had arrived, and Lily walked away from Andrea.

Lily's steps stopped when Andrea grabbed her hand, "You don't want to introduce yourself?"

"Don't you know me? I'm Elder Brother Kenzo's sister. He must often talk about me, so you must know me."

Andrea huffed in annoyance to see Lily forcibly release her grip and leave her.

"I really want to destroy her." 

Lily was a little disturbed by the presence of Andrea, always standing waiting for her at the school gate. Lily turned her attention to someone who gently tapped her on the shoulder. It was her classmate named, Albert Dario Ellard.

"Looks like she's always waiting for you."

Albert talked about Andrea, "She's a friend of Elder Brother Kenzo."

"Oh."

Albert watched Andrea's movement. The young man frowned in surprise. Lily looked at him, "What?" she asked as Albert's hand gently gripped her. Lily was silent as she tried to release the grip, which made Albert tighten his grip even more.

"Let's go home."

"Huh?"

Before Lily could continue her sentence, Albert grabbed Lily's hand, telling her to follow his lead. The two took a detour instead of going through the school gates, which made Andrea wait until the evening to discuss her plans with Lily.

"That little girl is troublesome."

Andrea mumbled, her body leaning against the car seat. She had other plans to find a chance to talk to Lily.

If Kenzo always talks about her, does the kid always talk about or think about Kenzo too? Andrea's mind asked.

The next day, Andrea suddenly stood in front of Lily without showing her whereabouts before. If before, she had always waited at the front gate of the school. This time Andrea came to see her as a guest.

That's a risky move.

"You like my brother, don't you? What do you want to try to talk to me? If you want to ask for help with your feelings, I won't. You're like a stalker. I don't want Brother Kenzo to have a crush like you."

Lily's words pierced Andrea's feelings. The girl chuckled quietly and silently. Andrea had to look friendly and careful in front of Lily.

"I just wanted to talk about his research."

Lily frowned, "I don't know anything. Talk to Elder Brother Kenzo. Oh? Is it because you like him and then confess your feelings so Elder Brother Kenzo stays away from you, or do you feel awkward and don't want to talk to him about important research matters? Very unprofessional, like a child."

Andrea growled in annoyance. She wanted to rip Lily's mouth out. Andrea tried to show her stiff laugh, "I'm not trying to joke. Are you sick? Want me to help you get to an insane asylum?"

Andrea spontaneously hit the surface of the table in front of her making Lily's body jump in surprise.

"Kid."

"Your true nature is coming out, you see."

Andrea smirked, "I just wanted to talk about Kenzo's difficulties with his research."

Lily was waiting for Andrea to finish her sentence. Her eyes glanced at Albert, who was waiting for her outside the room. The divider of the room where Lily and Andrea were talking was soundproof and made of partial glass so that outsiders could see the two of them.

"Just think of me as a support team with the others."

Other? Elder Brother Yohannes too? Lily thought.

Andrea stretched out her hand, a sly smile on her lips. 

"What if you become the object of his research? Kenzo must have been happy when his beloved little sister helped him succeed in his valuable research. Lily, you must be happy to be researching with your brother, Kenzo, too, right?"

Lily was silent. She looked at Andrea expressionlessly. The sly smile that was painted faded to be replaced by a flat line. Andrea moved from her place when she heard Lily's words. The girl rejected her.

Just as Andrea had left the room, Albert entered the room, leaving Lily pensively.

"Albert, what kind of research do you think an ambitious person does that makes him an object of his family? I talked a little about the past."
