“Andreas, what are you doing? We’re already embarrassed, don’t add to the embarrassment with your fake card, Andreas!”

Cindy, who saw Andreas take out his gold card, screamed in surprise. How could it not be, even Andreas himself said that the card was fake, and now how could Andreas loudly not only want to buy food at this restaurant but buy this restaurant with his fake gold card? This was the craziest thing the world had ever seen!

The two security guards raised their eyebrows, then they laughed out loud, mocking Andreas who was holding out the card. It was clear that they underestimated Andreas, and that was normal.

How could a poor-looking man like Andreas have cards that only a limited number of the world’s richest people have? A card that not everyone can afford, a card with an infinite limit.

“Are you going to fool us with your cards, damn it?” said one of the security guards.

“Of course not, didn’t I tell you that I wanted to buy this restaurant? Call the owner of this restaurant, I will buy the restaurant for double, no…” said Andreas, correcting himself. “I will buy this restaurant ten times the original price or even the owner of this restaurant asks for whatever price I will definitely pay.”

Again, everyone burst out laughing, while Cindy kept trying to pull Andreas’ arm. Cindy’s face was as red as boiled shrimp, she was so embarrassed by what Andreas was doing now.

“Do not dream! You are just an ignorant beggar. Look at your shabby and tattered clothes? How can you be so confident about buying this restaurant? Just so you know, this card is a card that only a few rich people have in the world and is only limited. If a beggar like you had this card, maybe I would have a world bank!” shouted the security guard mockingly.

Andreas looked calm and confident, then he exhaled slowly.

“Call the cashier or manager of this restaurant, then they will know whether I am lying or making it up.”

“Do you think we’ll care, and—”

“Never mind, just call our restaurant manager. Even if the owner could, I’m sure it would further add to the shame of this ignorant beggar.”

“However-“

“If we don’t call the restaurant manager, believe me, this beggar will continue to be here forever. Isn’t that really very annoying?

The security guard chuckled, inevitably he finally went inside to call the restaurant manager. Not long after, the security guard came out with a man dressed in a very neat suit, the figure of the restaurant manager looked very dignified.

“What is this?” asked the restaurant manager with a vicious expression on his face.

“Here, sir, two beggars came and said they wanted to eat at our restaurant. When we tried to shoo them away for fear that they would make customers feel uncomfortable, they just acted up. Especially this man, sir. Just look, he actually acted while showing his fake card and said he wanted to buy this restaurant for ten times the price or the price the restaurant owner wanted. Isn’t this really the most unfunny joke in the world?”

The manager immediately glanced at Andreas and Cindy. It was clear from the clothes and even the appearance of the two that the restaurant security guard was not at all wrong. Before he said anything, the manager glanced at the gold card Andreas was carrying. His eyes widened in surprise, especially when he read the name embossed there.

“Is your name Mr Andreas Lewis?” asked the manager curiously.

“Yes, my name is Andreas Lewis, and my wife is Cindy Lewis. We haven’t had time to have breakfast, which is why we are here. Who would have thought that the response of these two security guards would actually be annoying. Do you think that if we dress like this, it means we are beggars?”

The manager was silent, then he took a tool, he immediately rushed to ask for Andreas’ card to prove whether the card was genuine or a damaged or fake card that could not be used.

“Okay, Mr. Lewis. Can I borrow your card? I have to make sure wether your card is still active or has expired.”

The manager tried to be polite, he didn’t want to scold someone who turned out to be rich.

Andreas handed him his card, the manager immediately swiped the card, and what a surprise the restaurant manager was when he saw that the device in his hand gave off a green light, which meant that the card was real and active!

Everyone there was shocked, the two security guards, Cindy, even Andreas. They didn’t think that Andreas’ card was real.

“So, do you now believe that my card is real and is even still active?” Andreas felt so satisfied with this, he even felt like gouging out the eyes of the security guards who had been so impudent in insulting him.

“True, Mr. Lewis. Your card is real and can be used, if Mr. Lewis and your wife want to eat at our restaurant then please do. We will prepare a room for you.”

“I want a VVIP room where I don’t have to see and be seen by many people, because people these days instead of appreciating others, they will judge others based on the clothes others wear.”

“Again, forgive the insolence of the two security guards of this restaurant, Sir. I’m sure if they don’t really want to do that. They are just doing their job. Because now so often beggars come and see diners eating, then the diners don’t have an appetite and give a negative rating to our restaurant, that’s why our two security guards are even more selective.”

“Can you connect me to the owner of this restaurant? I want to buy this restaurant in my wife’s name, whatever the price I will buy it, and make sure to fire these two useless security guards after that.”

Andreas immediately pulled Cindy’s hand into the restaurant. Everyone looked at the two of them with strange looks, surprise, disgust, and even disdain. However, Andreas didn’t care at all, instead he deliberately showed off his gold card to everyone there. And after they saw Andreas’ gold card, they immediately looked down in shame. Andreas smiled with satisfaction seeing their embarrassed faces.

“Andreas, this time you have to explain everything to me. What’s going on, how can a card that you said was fake actually be usable and real? Where did you get that card, Andreas?”
