RECONCILLIATION

“He would be called Philip,” Quincy declared. He didn’t just decide to call his new born baby Philip. It was a combined decision between him and his wife Khloe.

The name was chosen in the memory of his one and only brother. He died even before he stopped breathing. Quincy narrated the real Philip Stone to his wife and she bought the idea to name the baby after him.

It was a culture they read from one of the African books Khloe reviewed. She loved the African culture where family members rename their kids the names of their deceased love ones, as a form of respect and love rekindling. She adopted the culture.

The birth of baby Philip brought immense joy in their home. Who would have thought that a new baby could bring so much joy?

Khloe has stopped been angry over every tiny issues, all the arrogances she vented out during her pregnancy days died a natural death.

She became sweet and nice all over again. “Oh it was part of the pregnancy syndromes!” Quincy thought to himself.
