A punctured heart

The next day, Ansel and Samantha headed to the hospital. The visit had been Ansel's idea, and though Samantha had hesitated at first, she'd eventually come around to it last night.

Now, they were about to see her brother together and Samantha couldn't stop herself from feeling restless.

Ansel had also made a bold promise to Samantha during their conversation last night. He'd assured her that if he couldn't figure out a way to help her brother, he'd give her the money she needed.

While they were on their way, they bought chicken soup and that was placed in a polythene bag which Samantha was holding.

The hospital reeked of antiseptic and Ansel couldn't help but scrunch his nose.

He hated the smell of hospitals and it was one of the reasons why he preferred traditional medicines.

They made him feel like puking and Ansel didn't like the feeling.

But this wasn't about him, Ansel was here to see Fred and so he quickly adapted to the smell.
