Forever puppet

Ansel's eyes widened in disgust as he stared at the unrecognizable substance on the tray.

Was this some kind of grinded meat? The mushy texture and unfamiliar appearance made his stomach turn.

He couldn't fathom why anyone would expect him to eat such a thing. The thought of consuming it made his gut churn with revulsion.

He silently cursed the world for not being the same time with the real world.

There was a possibility that he could get poisoned by just eating the food from the strange world.

Sighing deeply, he knew he had no choice and so he decided to take a bite of the grinded meat.

Since no utensils were provided, he used his fingers to shape the mysterious meat into small, manageable balls.

The texture was unpleasantly squishy, but he braced himself, knowing he had to eat if he wanted to regain his strength and eventually escape this bizarre castle.

The food didn't have a bad aroma but Ansel was feeling a bit skeptical.
