“That’s it, your idea has been carried out. Let’s see if they’d risk Laurel’s life.” Gina said, sitting at dinner with Adonis.

It was his plan all along. He wanted the police to think the abductors were still within the city, that way they wouldn’t be thinking if they had escaped even before the search began. But that wasn’t the only reason he did it.

He did it to also give Tony peace of mind that Laurel wasn’t dead and that she was safe, but still he had put him in a pinch. All he wanted was to become the heir, he didn’t wish to harm anybody or allow anyone suffer.
