Katerina was staring at Tony, confusedly. What the heck was he saying? She couldn’t comprehend his words because he wasn’t coming out straight.

“I’ll tell you this, Katerina. When the child is born, I’m going to show you why I said what I said, just promise me that you’ll allow me to raise the child.” Tony pleaded, this was his chance and he had to take it. There wouldn’t be a need to appear in court and Lilian wouldn’t find out until later.

Katerina sighed, she didn’t quite understand what was going on but it seemed like Tony was bent on having the child, something she actually predicted. If he says he has the means, there was a chance that he wasn’t lying, and even if he his; she still had the authority to take the baby away from him. So she’d just give him this promise, while keeping in mind that if it wasn’t what she was thinking she would take the child away.
