In My Feelings

The fork fell off her hands and hit the ceramic plate making a tingling sound that made everyone in the restaurant turn around to look in her direction. Laurel was expecting something similar to this but it still felt awfully surprising when she heard it.

Tony was falling in love with her? Maybe she shouldn’t have gone to his house. Maybe Lilian was right, she should have just stayed away.

But it wasn’t as if it was one sided, she was also feeling something for him but was yet to admit it.

“I….I…i mean, I don’t know what to say, honestly.” Laurel stuttered, she closed her eyes for a second and heaved a sigh. Maybe this was a dream, she’d definitely like to wake up now.

She didn’t like the way she was feeling at the moment, the awkwardness and the confusion of whether she reciprocated or not was making her uncomfortable.

“You don’t need to say anything, I’m very certain that you feel the same way,” Tony said, sitting relaxed; he was confident about that, but at the back of his mind
