It took approximately three hours for us to circle the whole western area of the floating city of Asgard, just so that we could get near the observatory where Odin told me we would find Heimdall.

In the meantime, he told me how strange it was, that even when I was able to see through world-lines, there were still some completely out of my sight.

However, it wasn’t surprising at all, as the all-father told me later. Because as they already foresaw here in Asgard, what Metatron did in Becca’s world-line, turned the entirety of creation against itself, making the whole world-line into a gigantic anomaly.

And with that anomaly, he would be able to hide from unwanted eyes. Eyes that had mouths, and would surely tell their masters of the scribe’s plan, forcing their masters to move for a war that the scribe of God hims

The view of the floating city was mesmerising. So much so, that I could hardly pay attention to Odin’s speech about multiverses, world-lines, and how my world-line was an anomaly by being a universe by itself.Of course, knowing all this made my focus change rapidly to what the all-father had to say. And it also brought me a bit back to reality.I still had a mission. And I still didn’t know a single thing about it. Which was a little disconcerting, because no matter where I went, whether it was another world-line or even another universe... Other beings seemed to know exactly what I was there for.And even if not, there were always bits and pieces of information that would lead me to the right path on accomplishing it.Even though I had no idea on how much time I still had left. When Odin was finally finished with

***Becca's POV***Why was my voice resounding in my own head every time that Yaweh spoke? What did He mean by remembering the archangel's image and replicating them to help Him fight Tehom? Why was there always more question marks than exclamation points when I tried to find an answer about all this mess?I felt sinking deeper and deeper in confusion as the scenes unfolded before me. It could only be some kind of full-dive technology or something of the sorts, because there could be no way that... There was no way that I could be saying those words, feeling those emotions. There was no way that I could be experiencing what Yahweh Himself experienced at the moment of the very beginning of everything. At all.So I distanced myself, just enough for me to keep my sanity. Just enough for me to be able to analyse what was going on around me, in my Father's memories. And as the whole battle against Tehom unfolded, I came to realise the full brunt of how powerful the enemy I was figuring a

“But first...” Jake said after the hug started feeling a bit awkward. “I think the both of us have some things that need to be done, right?”I raised my eyebrow, waiting for an explanation, so Jake went on.“Well, it’s only been one night since you figured out our way forward in this... Situation, but Thor told me a few things that I think you should know as well...”***Jake’s POV***When I talked with Thor, I noticed that the big thunder dude was actually quite a nice... Person? Anyway, we spent the whole night talking about Asgard and my journey, which actually meant Becca’s journey too. What I didn't know, though, was that we were going to need some extra help."First of all," Thor started, "midgardians have an incredibly fragile constitution, which means that if you want to help her, then you 'must' become stronger.""How do you know about my choice, when you weren't even there when she told me I'd have to make it, to begin with?"Thor shrugged and answered."It is not as if I w

***Thor's POVTen years later***It was hard at first. Though they were eager to learn, having different brains and cultures made them too stagnant and rough to shape. However, as the lessons went on and on, they became quite adapted to the ways of the Asgardians, having learned many things. But as everything comes to an end one day, the day when I had to say goodbye to Becca and Jake arrived like a thunderous storm rocking the skies. We broke our fast and went to the very last session of their training, which consisted of one last fight that would tell if they were able to carry on with their mission, or if they were not to succeed. The only problem was that if I was to choose, I would keep them training for ten years more, because they still lacked the knowledge in some areas of our practice.I was worried that they would end up facing some foes whom they would have to beat in a game that was not of their knowledge. On the other hand, I knew them and trusted them, so when the time

***Jake’s POV***I always thought that my life would be a pretty regular one.Living with my parents until I got a job, moving out, helping them raise my sister Thess, growing old and up on my career. That would be pretty much it.I'd die a normal death, and maybe I would go to Heaven, along with Bert. And then we would spend the rest of eternity doing whatever we'd get to do up there.I never thought that I would end up being such a big deal in the fate of the universe. Never imagined I would end up meeting an angel, nor have I ever thought that I would end up knowing so many secrets about life, the universe, and all else. But here I am, walking side by side with Becca towards our quarters, to get ready for the big meeting.Going all in for knowing what the Fates expected us to do, in order to save not only them, but the whole reality as we know it."Are you nervous?" Becca asked, sounding a bit ironic.Which was quite understandable, because ever since we spent so much more time t

There was a bit of tension mixed with the farewell's sadness in the air. All the Norse gods we came to know for the past ten years were there at the entrance of the cave. The all-father Odin, Thor, Tyr, Loki, Heimdall, Frey, Freya, Frigga, and many others, all of them. All dressed in ceremonial clothing, ready for our return, when we finally get to say goodbye.Or at least for now.We stepped onto the cave, and right after that the whole world turned into darkness around us. We waited, and then the stone stairs appeared before us, leading deeper and deeper beneath the ground as we followed.I held the torch as I led the way downwards, and when we arrived at the core of Asgard, there were them. The three sisters of Fate. Urd, Verdand, and Skuld, circling the sacred well and chanting something that I never heard before, but it sounded a lot like dad's music. They stopped as soon as we set foot under the core's dome.It was surrounded by green crystals and roots, the sisters stood there

***Jake's POV***The gates of Eden were open. But no matter how many times I tried to get through, there was a barrier keeping me from entering, so I sat there and waited, thinking of what reason could there be for me to get apart from Becca in such a crucial moment.Even more... Thinking of what could be the reason for me to end up in Heaven.Alone.That was when I heard unfamiliar voices speaking to me from somewhere, and I couldn't see them."Metatron was right, brother." One voice said."I know, right, brother? But what could another human seek here?" The other voice retorted. They seemed to be near me, but even then, I was completely unable to find a single trace of them. And they kept speaking."Metatron's plans are a bit hazy, and we're not to question them, brother." The first voice, innocent and playful, almost childish, answered."Yeah, yeah. That's what you say when you're near him, because you don't want him to know." The second voice, more malicious, mature and serious,

It was hard for Bert and Cam to tell Mathew and Jake that they were basically alone in this now, since Uri disappeared, Don went after her, and Elleanore had resigned herself and Abigail from the fight. It was even worse after Jonah told him what they had to face, despite not even concretely knowing what were their strengths against all odds. They felt as if they were walking in the middle of a crossfire, blindfolded, with their hands tied behind their backs. And while they were at it, researching, looking for gods, searching for more answers, the world kept changing. In the course of the months that followed their first reunion to discuss about the dream, that now seemed to them to have taken place years ago, the world had changed. Weeks went by with earthquakes reshaping whole areas throughout the world, typhoons devastating small towns, crimes happening much more frequently, atop of many more disasters happening all around. And along with that, a new pillar of power was rising

Jonah remembered all about the place as soon as death took a hold of his body, and he wasn’t sure if the domain of Death, his old domain, had always been so bright. It looked as though daylight had been poured over the vastness of the deserted plains, with only the giant maze showing in the centre of everything.Something felt fishy, and even though Jonah felt confident in walking through the land, he also felt as if something was out there, watching him.But when he felt it, his attenti
