"Calm down. I haven't even said anything yet," Vanessa said.

"You don't have to. I already know you're thinking of asking him for help and more information about what's happening in MacMatthew Corp," Armand said.

"How can you be so sure?" Vanessa asked defensively.

"Am I wrong?" Armand replied.

"Well, no. But hear me out. Tom is a nice man. People make mistakes and what happened that day was a mistake. You have to overlook it, please," Vanessa pleaded.

"Overlook? That man judged me even before he got a chance to know me. First impressions matter a lot and the impression that man gave me, I do not like it" Armand said.

"Okay, I agree, first impressions really do matter, however, what about giving someone a second chance. Second impression?" Vanessa asked.

"Vanessa, no. Look for someone else" Armand said.

"Tom works in the finance department and I'm sure he wouldn't lie to me. Also, I'm certain he knows more about this issue than any other staff," Vanessa said.
