A DEVIL'S ANVIL

It was the smoke from afar that first caught the attention of those in pursuit of the prince, and they arrived at the scene a few moments later.

Since the arson had taken place at night, the fire had almost razed the whole Inn down before help came, and it was the debris of the once glorified inn that was met when Jade and two overgrown bearded men arrived.

"What happened here? This Inn was standing in its glory when we passed here yesterday," Jade announced after gawking at the remain of the Inn.

"It was burned down by an angry customer or through the staff's negligence. I think we should ask around."

"That must be one of the staff. I suggest we go closer to find out."

"We are after Onishi and not to find out the cause of a fire outbreak, " Jade mumbled, stepped after her two comrades and grumbled when her pessimism was ignored.

"Be quiet. It will take a few minutes, and who knows maybe the man we seek is connected to this."

"Huh!"

"Hello, madam. So sorry for your loss."
