"Why are we even given the task of chasing crazy scientists while the rest of the team is just making expeditions to places that are not even dangerous." Kento complained while spitting out cigarette smoke from his mouth.

"Kento, if you're complaining to me it's pointless, just say it directly to the higher-ups."

"Well, if only I could do it, I wouldn't complain here even if I was crazy enough and attacked the offices of the existing superiors I got fired and didn't get paid, if I don't get paid then I can't see Mona anymore."

"Hey, why did you even say yes to uncle's invitation?" Charlotte suddenly scolded Luke and Luke was even more confused by his current situation. Why is Charlotte angry? Is the place Kento invited to a bad place?

"S-sorry." Luke could only apologize to Charlotte and he also didn't know what was wrong?

"Hey, hey Charlotte just let your brother and this new recruit come with me, we're three boys after all so what's wrong, right, Charles?" Kento glanced at Charles with an eyebrow raised.

"He just kept quiet and thought it was just a matter of course while they were talking a lot and he just answered it in a flat tone without any expression. But, they actually like his style like that. Damn, I'm really regret asked the Captain to meet with Mona."

Luke didn't know and didn't understand what the three of them were talking about earlier. And it seems Kento experienced something that traumatized him that day.
