CHAPTER 17

When we returned to the Principal's office, I was stunned.

I knew my mother was a hero but I didn't know she had done this plenty of good deeds.

What else could she have done?

No doubt, my mother was a good woman and an even better hero.

This must be why she had been so uncomfortable with leaving whoever was left behind, behind.

I didn't ask the Principal about it anyway.

"Kastian, your father was a Special even without possessing any abilities but he was still a hero. If he had to jump into the fire to save someone, he would do it not caring the slightest for his lack of abilities."

"I understand that you feel different not being able to use a prototype that should make you the strongest but that doesn't mean you can't be a hero." He returned to his seat as he spoke.
