CHAPTER 44

Writer's POV

On the other side of the portal was Trion; a planet with nothing but rocks and hills.

Josiah quickly caught Anna before she fell on one of the rocks.

"Thank you." She blushed, looking away shyly when he released her.

"Let's focus on the mission, guys." Magda moved in front of her team, scanning the area before giving her commands.

When she concluded that there was no danger in sight, she put her hand up and gestured with her fingers for them to move forward.

"Now, Anna." She said to the psychic user on the team.

The tall Lady nodded before closing her eyes.

With her mind, she tried to search for the energy the other psychic users had spoken of.

"Dark and cold, so empty, it could leave your mind hollow." That was how they had described it.

Anna searched but she couldn't detect anything dark, cold nor both.

As a matter of fact, she couldn't detect any mind energy at all.

It was as though the team were the only living on the planet.
