Chapter 4: Earth

Earth, or should I say Earth’s. Each one of them, different from the other.

Each Earth housed a different concept, a different theory about life and a different form of energy. One of these Earth was particularly unique, because of the existence of Mana.

Mana, an Ethereal form of Elemental, cosmic and divine energy. It gave life and form to this void earth, not only that, but it served as the source of The Arcane.

Plants, beasts of the air and land as well as the sea, all became in tune with the Arcane Energy / Mana that flowed within the Earth. All of a sudden, Humans came into the picture.

Unlike the other creatures that roamed the Earth, Human were quite unique due to their unquenchable thirst for knowledge. It’s through this thirst, they were able to create what they called Magic or rather called The Arcane.

This discovery of Magic, gravely impacted human lives, making their work easier, effective and more efficient. Centuries after, their discovery became evolution.

Humans evolved to a point where they could draw on essence from the Elemental, Fundamental, Cosmic and Divine forces that governed reality, making these powers, their own. They called this evolution, Affinity.

Their Evolution became Expansion, and Expansion became Division, as human divided the world into seven different Continent; North Aerica, South Aerica, Eufrica , Irope, Oceania, Kalkasia and Tartic.

Few Decades after the Great Division of the world, Human’s thirst for knowledge got the best of them as they soon created contraptions, Concepts, theories and ideas, that even gods thought were impossible. They called these new profound theories and Contraption, Science and Technology.

Technology became the order of day, as Humans slowly shifted their focus and attention from Magic to Tech. Eventually, it dawned on Humans, that their so beloved Tech had some shortcomings, but they were able to bypass that with the reenactment of The Arcane.

With Magic and Tech, humans were able to create, Arcatech. This form of Magic and Technology was far more superior, powerful and drastically unstable.

Thirst soon turned into Greed, as The Seven Continents tore themselves apart just so that they could get their hands on Arcatech. The war spanned for Centuries, gradually reducing the human population. Humans weren’t the only ones who suffered from the war, the landscape drastically changed, the beasts of earth became endangered and the Enchanted plants, slowly lost its power.

As a last resort, humans sought peace. Seven different people, with each one of them from the various Continents, stood out in the midst of war, soliciting dearly for peace. Finally, the frivolous war ended with those seven individuals exalted as heroes. These heroes soon became the rulers of their specific Continents. Also, as a symbol of peace between The Continents, a city was built and dubbed, Solaris, The City of The Future.

Solaris city, a city built completely with Arcatech, stands as a symbol of peace, knowledge, trade and commerce. It became a home to countless people who were displaced by the Great World War.

The city was a grand mix of Science fiction and Fantasy, an incredible site to see. The buildings were made out of Gold and a material known as Bardium, a product of Arcatech, which had a pure white color. The City buildings were pure white with gold pillars and bright blue glasses.

The City also became the location of the most prestigious Institute of Magic which was called Solaris Arcane Academy. Solaris Academy, an Academy opened to both Commoners and Nobles, where only the best of the best are allowed to enroll.

Thanks to the Academy, humans were finally able to put aside their frivolous squabble, embracing peace at last.
