Lily shook her face out of his grip. "Roman I'm sorry but I can't. I just can't keep doing this. You lied to me not once, not twice, how do you expect me to believe whatever you have to say?" She attempted to stand on her feet but failed due to the excruciating pain she felt in her foot. 

Roman crouched so he could lift her up but she wouldn't let him. He shook his head at her, knowing he wasn't leaving her here to drown in pain.

"You might not want to talk to me but you are hurt and you need my help. I'm not going to leave you on your own injured, there's no point fighting it." With that, he picked her up and led her back to the shed. Cassie was not waiting inside by the time they got there and Lily sighed in relief. She couldn't deal with both their presence but it was better Roman than Cassie.
