Adrian's Awakening: Wake up in the magical world

In the kitchen, director Roxanne prepared a couple of lamb sandwiches with gratin cheese and French potatoes. That was the only thing I can do without using magic.

Adrián accompanied her in the kitchen because they would eat there, he entertained reading a book that the director lent her her library to entertain in silence and let her cook without asking so many questions, since it was normal for him to feel curious about everything New that I saw in her new life, and the director Roxanne could only answer those questions she knew what to say.

The boy read a very interesting book about the giants who had wanted to attack the day he reincarnated in this world and the day he met Ally. 

The director Roxanne served dinner on her respective dish for each one, Adrián put aside the book and helped her serve the lemonades and then leave them on the table and prepare to eat once the director Roxanne sat next to her.

"Apparently, you liked the book," said the director when she sat in her chair next to Adrián.

Adrián nodded, taking a hand to put it on his mouth and be able to speak while chewing because he had already bitten his sandwich.

“I have more of those in the library, if you want, and when you finish them, you can go find another. It serves that you are getting familiar with our world, you will have to learn a lot from it, and it will be fantastic so you can catch up with your classes. These books not only have them because I love reading, but also from them, I learned a lot in my student times", said director Roxanne while taking her sandwich and ate it. 

Adrián smiled when he was cleaning his mouth with a napkin. 

"Can I really do it?" Asked the child enthusiastically, as if he couldn't believe in what he heard. 

"Yes, that's how it is. I know that here in this world we do not have the same entertainment systems that you used to have in your past life, but at least there are books, and if you like to read, you are surely like me, of which it is revealed night after night until the end of the book"

The truth was the opposite, Adrián was revealed at home when it was weekend, he only did it on Fridays and Saturdays, which was the only day he could stay late in bed and playing his video games after having finished his duties of school and at home.

Although he did not usually read, learn about his new world seemed very fun, and if books would tell him all the truth about how he reincarnated in that new world. For him, all those books would be much more than reading just by entertaining.

They finished dinner, Adrián set out the task of helping director Roxanne, always washing the dishes they used to cook and eat. Likewise, he would be responsible for organizing and cleaning his room, and would also help every time the director needed it because he swore not to be a hindrance in his new house, he wanted to help, and wanted to be grateful doing it.

Then, at the end of leaving the kitchen clean, Adrián went to the library, took another pair of books that corresponded to the following of his book, the one he was currently reading because it was not one, but it was a trilogy, and they were He brought to his room after finding director Roxanne in the hall, ready to go to sleep, and Adrián wished him good night from afar. 

Adrián hurried to go to his room.

Before going to her room, in the middle of dinner, director Roxanne informed Adrian that inside her closet, she would find clothes as well as child pajamas she could wear, Adrián did not ask anything he had belonged to, because she imagined that she imagined that, surely, the boy who had previously lived here already grew up and left the house to make his life next to his mother. 

At the time of thinking, Adrián asked himself: Did the director Roxanne become a mother and that's why he had child clothes stored at home? Or, perhaps, did you belong to some other owner of the one who had already left this place?

Without more, Adrián returned to do what he was doing.

Adrián entered his room with the books in his arms, closing the door behind him smoothly so as not to make any noise that could wake up the owner of the house that lay asleep placidly in his bed in a room adjacent to his.

He still couldn't stop thinking about the clothes that the director Roxanne had mentioned. He left the books on the bedside table and approached the closet with some uncertainty.

When he opened the doors, he found a row of ordered garments with meticulousness. There were shirts of different colors, pants of different sizes and several cotton pajamas bent with care on the lower shelves. They seemed to be in perfect condition, as if someone had claimed to keep them ready for their next owner.

Adrián took a blue (pajamas) with small drawings of stars and took it to the bathroom to change. As he put on the comfortable fabric, his mind kept wandering. He couldn't help wondering why the director had saved children's clothes. Perhaps, as I had thought before, it belonged to a child who no longer lived there. Would it be possible for the director to have had a child? Or maybe, just as he had welcomed him, he had also taken care of other children in the past?

When he returned to the room, the dream began to weigh on his eyelids, but his curiosity was still latent. He took the second book of the trilogy and settled in bed, deciding to read a few pages before sleeping. The history of the giants who had attacked him on his first day in that world remained a mystery, and the book promised answers about their origins and their relationship with magic.

As the pages passed, Adrián immersed himself in reading. He discovered that the giants were not only destructive creatures, but there were old records that talked about their intelligence and a hierarchical organization within their clans. Some had even been humans in ancient times, but something had led them to become enemies.

The dream ended up beating it. Adrián put the book aside, turned off the lamp and snuggled under the blankets. Before closing his eyes, one last idea crossed her mind: perhaps, director Roxanne knew more about what she appeared about the giants and her connection with him. Tomorrow, without fail, I would ask about it.

With that thought, Adrián got carried away by sleep, without knowing that fate had prepared more responses than he expected.
