Adrián obeyed his mother, and went to take a bath. 

But as he bathed, he felt very strange, he felt weak, as if his body did not react so easily to his calls. 

"What the hell happens to me?", Adrián asked himself.

"Adrián ... You're mine, you won't be anyone else. No matter where, or where you can see me, I will always be there with you. I will not let you escape so easily, did you understand?", The woman whispered in her ear. Despite not seeing her at that moment because the boy did not want to open her eyes to do it, he knew she told the truth.

Adrián's heart was beating hard, his breathing accelerated, and his muscles had a useless attempt to resist that ethereal presence. I knew it was not a simple dream or a hallucination caused by hot water vapor; She was there, with him, claiming him as his.

"No ... you can't do this," Adrián whispered, with the voice broken by anguish and confusion.

The woman's laugh resonated in her ears, a soft but disturbing sound, like an echo coming from another world.

-Can't? She replied with fun. And who will prevent it? That girl you say so much love? Poor thing, he must be suffering right now.

Adrián's chest was compressed. Ally. She was feeling it, I knew. The connection between the two was strong, more than I would never have imagined. He could not allow this to continue, he had to resist, he had to fight.

Gathering all his strength, Adrián opened his eyes suddenly and turned sharply to face it. But there was no one there. Only water falling incessant and its own reflection in the fogged mirror. He gasped, his bristled skin and his body trembling with a mixture of fear and fury.

"With my life!" He shouted desperately, squeezing his fists.

The surrounding air became dense, the bathroom temperature seemed to descend sharply and, for a moment, he thought he saw a diffuse silhouette in the mirror. Bright eyes looked at him intensely, full of a sickly obsession.

"Never," was the last thing he heard before everything returned to normal.

Adrián breathed difficult, resting his hands on the shower wall. His mind was a thoughtless whirlwind. He knew he was not safe, that she would not stop. And worst of all ... I knew that Ally would never forgive him.

I had to find a solution. And I had to do it quickly.

Before Adrián could finish bathing, his body collapsed on the ground. 

"Adrián? Dear? Come on, he wakes up",  his mother's voice was heard like an echo. 

But Adrián remained unconscious, with his eyes completely in darkness.

His mother looked at him with a frown, the concern was reflected in his dark eyes.

"Adrian!" What happened to you? He asked, with the towel in his hand, ready to wrap it and take care of him from the cold because his body did not stop shivering due to so much time that the water fell on him.

He tried to answer, but his throat was dry, as if he had spent hours without speaking. Likewise, he put a hand around his neck, feeling his cold skin, frozen. His muscles were tense, as if a marathon had run, and his chest went up and down with effort.

"I ..." he murmured, but his voice was barely a whisper.

His mother helped him join, but Adrian could barely stand up. Everything around him felt distorted, as if he were still caught in a bad dream. However, the feeling of those hands on their skin, that voice whispering in the ear, remained as vivid as before.

"We must take you to the hospital," his mother said firmly.

-No! Adrián reacted immediately, with a sudden force. He held his mother's doll and looked at her desperately. I don't need a hospital. Alone ... I just need to rest.

His mother watched him with distrust, but finally sighed, resigned.

"Alright. But if you faint again, there will be no discussion".

Adrián nodded and let her help him dress. However, his mind did not stop spinning.

And I knew it with certainty because, in the reflection of the mirror, before everything returned to normal, Adrián had seen something else.

A dark brand had been drawn on her chest, just where she had last touched it. A symbol that he did not recognize, but that burned with an icy heat, as if he were being claimed by a force that escaped his understanding.

I wasn't safe.

And, worst of all, I wasn't Ally either.
