Fenryn paced his study, his arms folded across his chest. He had felt anxious ever since he had received the scroll from Nelson. He had heard nothing since then, however, and it had been far too long, in his opinion.
Had they captured Nelson? If so, he may never know the full truth and he would have to find another way to act. What if Nelson blabbed about his mission and who sent him? What would happen then?
A polite knock on the door brought Fenryn’s attention to it. “Enter,” he said, his voice stern. He couldn’t show his anxious emotions in front of anyone other than two people, and one of those people was not in the castle anymore.

There was grief in his eyes, beyond that anger, and Nelson was unsure if he should question the King or sit quietly until he was told what the information said.
