The night was quiet, in a mansion with a spacious pantry, there was a handsome man on the move.
"Jeff, what are you doing here? What are you doing? Washing dishes is not your job!"
Amanda pulled her husband's wet hand.
"Amanda, the pantry looks dirty. Let me clean it up." Jeff tried to explain. However, the beautiful woman looked even more annoyed.
"No, Jeff. It's the maid's job!" Amanda said, looking her husband in the eye.
Jeff couldn't help but agree to his wife's request.
Amanda didn't know that every night when she was asleep, Jeff would sneak out of the room to do the kitchen work. It had become a necessity for Jeff, if he wanted to stay in the mansion.
***
Morning had come, a maid had reported the unfinished housework to Mrs Miranda.
"It turns out he's already dared to slack off in this house! What a poor, ignorant man."
The woman's face turned red accompanied by a sharp look in her eyes.
That morning all the family members gathered at the dining table as usual, including Jeff and Amanda.
"Jeff, it looks like starting today and the next few days, I'll be coming home late. I have a lot of work to do before the end of the month," Amanda said.
"Amanda, you're pregnant. Don't work too hard," said Jeff who couldn't hide his anxiety.
Mrs Miranda, who disliked Jeff from the start, was disgusted by the attention Jeff was showing towards his wife.
"If Amanda doesn't work hard, who will provide for you? Relying on your income is not enough!" Miranda quipped without feeling the least bit guilty.
These words, in turn, made Jeff bow in shame. Indeed, this was not the first time he had been patronised by his mother-in-law or brother-in-law.
"That's it, Mum. Don't put Jeff in a corner." Amanda tried to defend him. However, this only made the atmosphere at the dinner table even more heated.
Mrs Miranda, who still had not forgotten what happened yesterday, over Jeff's insolence towards Ronald, continued to vent her frustration.
Amanda, who didn't want this problem to drag on, immediately asked Jeff to leave the room. There were more important things than listening to Miranda's ramblings.

The long-awaited time arrived. It was exactly one o'clock in the morning. A black car entered the courtyard of the Sharon family residence. One by one, they got out of the car.
Their faces were deliberately covered with black knit caps, with only their noses, eyes and mouths visible.
They sneaked around and occasionally looked at the CCTV installed there. They were not too worried, because the owner of this house had guaranteed everything.
They entered the room where Jeff and Amanda were. The couple, asleep in their dreams.
"We have to hurry!" one of them muttered and the other nodded.
Two people immediately carried Jeff's body. The others watched from outside the door.
They managed to get Jeff out of there, without any trouble at all. Strange, isn't it? Amanda didn't even wake up at all?
Of course, it was planned from the start.
They left the mansion, taking Jeff and his car with them.
***
After traveling for more than thirty minutes. The two cars were on the edge of a cliff. Jeff, who was in his car, was still asleep.
"Now, drop the car and its owner into this cliff," said one of the kidnappers as he removed his face covering.
"Are you sure he'll die? This cliff isn't that deep." A colleague doubted.
"Never mind, let's just obey Mr Arnold's orders. Down there are some people who will help us destroy this car and its owner."
Without further ado, they immediately pushed Jeff's car and its owner into the ravine.
Dwaaaarrrrr...
A few minutes later, there was a loud explosion. The car exploded and sure enough, Jeff was crushed along with the car.
"It turns out our job is this easy."
"He must be dead down there," his partner said with a smile.
"Not just dead. His body must have been burnt, too," continued the other, feeling happy too.
The three men who were the hitmen, smiled with satisfaction. Their task to send Jeff to the afterlife, in fact, was quite easy. Not as difficult as imagined. In fact, all of this had been planned from the beginning.
***
In the morning, Amanda, who had just woken up from her sleep, found a letter right beside her, the position that should have been occupied by Jeff.
Amanda immediately grasped the white piece of paper. Her eyes widened when she realised the words on the letter. She was sure it was Jeff's handwriting.
"Jeff, why did you leave me?" The woman's cries broke out and could be heard in several rooms.
"Amanda, what happened to you?" her mother asked.
"Jeff left, Mum."
Mrs Miranda gave a false statement.
"I'm sorry mum. Maybe it was your behavior that made Jeff change and turn away from you. I prevented him from going out with that woman last night. But he ignored her.”
"Jeff couldn't have done that, Mum."
"I thought that too at first. But the truth is that your husband left with another woman."
Jeff's departure disrupted Amanda's activities. She tried to contact her husband repeatedly. But, Jeff had no answer.
"Mum, please help me look at the CCTV. I want to see what really happened."
"Amanda, I don't think you need to do that. You'd better calm yourself down."
The old lady hurried to leave Amanda alone. Of course Mrs Miranda forbade Amanda to look at the CCTV, because if that happened, all her lies would be exposed.
Meanwhile, far away from the Sharon family residence. A well-known hospital in the city center. In one of the VVIP rooms. A young man opened his eyes wide. Staring at the ceiling full of emptiness. His head was spinning, picking up the pieces of the events he had recently experienced. "Where am I? What is this?" He finally regained his full consciousness. He looked at his hand, which was attached to an IV drip. What exactly had happened? Where was he now? A hospital? The young man pulled out the IV roughly. He didn't care about the pain in the area. He looked at his deserted surroundings. "What room is this? Is this a hotel?" Question after question continued to break through his head relentlessly. Until he winced in pain, because suddenly his head was throbbing so hard, as if it wanted to burst. "Brian! Are you awake?" A woman stood still, just a few metres away from where the young man was. "Brian? Who's Brian?" The young man wondered. Just like the woman, he was surprised to

But, how could my spirit suddenly be in this man's body? I haven't figured it out yet," Jeff said.He continued to dig up information about Brian Collins. For almost three hours, Jeff read the diary. He began to find a way to uncover his identity."Well, the only person I can trust right now is Anna. Tomorrow I'll talk to her."Jeff, who had been sitting on the sofa, now lay down on Brian's luxurious bed. As he was about to close his eyes, he recalled what Brian's spirit had said before entering the hole of light."He said he wanted to ask me to take revenge on Ronald Brown. Isn't he Ama
"Don't let Amanda know that we are the ones who have been fighting for justice for her husband's death," Mrs Miranda continued. That remark certainly made her eldest son's eyes bulge.Arnold realised something was wrong. Then, his mother approached him."Arnold, there seems to be someone behind that door. I'm afraid someone is eavesdropping on our conversation."Now Arnold understood, he understood and slowly walked towards the door."That's right mum. I shouldn't have been so emotional and instead find a solution to reveal the real cause of Jeff's death. Did he die in a pure accident or was it something else. Even though he died with another woman, I feel sorry for him."Arnold pretended to care, as he looked at the shoes from behind the door, which were none other than Amanda's shoes."I hope that whatever the outcome, Amanda will be strong enough to bear all this," Mrs Miranda said.****Shortly after Jeff decided to become Brian, Ronald heard the news of Brian's awakening from his
