Chapter 18

The group finally arrived at the abandoned warehouse where they believed the artefact was being kept. They parked their car a few blocks away and approached on foot, being cautious not to draw any attention to themselves.

As they got closer, they could see a group of armed men guarding the entrance. "We need a plan," David whispered to the group. "We can't just charge in there."

"I agree," replied Sarah. "But we also can't just sit around and wait for them to make a move."

Suddenly, a loud noise distracted the guards at the entrance. They all turned their attention to the source of the sound, allowing the group to sneak in unnoticed.

As they made their way inside, they found themselves in a large room filled with crates and boxes. "This place is huge," whispered Alex. "How are we ever going to find the artefact in here?"

"We'll have to split up and search," said David. "But be careful. We don't know what kind of security measures they have in place."
