Urion's weapon was almost visible over Aiden's neck when suddenly something pushed the portal guardian. It was Sir Larot, who threw himself at him with all his might. The viewers and those present felt relieved not to witness another death. Some wrote, "Well, whoever you are, that dark knight sure puts up a fight," and some more asked, "How much longer can he fight against that thing?" Additionally, others said, "Poor puppy," referring to Podbe. Opinions online were mixed.

Sir Larot had to save the boy for two reasons: one, because they needed him to create the new Metalux, and second, because he had to finish off Urion as he had promised Adia.

Melisa was trying to cover all the details of the story while moving from side to side, filming Larot and Urion's fight. She observed the scene of the little boy and his lifeless dog on the ground.

Larot began to activate the special abilities of his suit. "I had no other choice." "I needed to finish off this monster," he told himself as his ha

The new being that emerged from Podbe's body let out a great howl to the sky. From its muzzle emerged a sort of golden ray that seemed to shoot out of the sky into outer space. The brightness it emitted was blinding, and small waves radiated from it, causing every device in the vicinity to shut down, including cameras and cell phones. Viewers at home were left wanting more, eager to continue watching the new creature that had entered the battlefield. Some thought that the dog was not of this planet; others believed that not even in their wildest dreams could they imagine such a majestic and mystical creature. Unfortunately, everyone had to keep wondering as the only thing visible on their screens was "transmission interrupted," with only static sounds."Quick, film over there!" Melisa instructed Creg. "It's something amazing and big, get a close-up."The camera person started to look through his lens, but the image was distant. "What's wrong?" he wondered. He looked at the camera moni

"Wait, little dog," Gat said."That's not a dog," Billy replied. "It's a giant wolf.""Well, whatever," Gat said as they saw the gigantic animal approaching them at full speed. Before reaching the team, the wolf stopped and turned with an alert gaze towards where it had thrown the guardian."Phew!" "What a relief," Billy said, almost wetting his pants and dropping to the ground. The others also felt their souls return to their bodies after almost becoming dog food, like Aiden. The rocks that had buried Urion began to move one by one until they rose into the air, revealing the being from another universe once more, now with blood where its mouth and legs were supposed to be, without arms, and with a look of pure evil. It began to shriek loudly, and its entire body filled with a dark red aura, thick like blood, enveloping it completely. In its mind, it thought: You'll pay for this animal. I am one of the most powerful guardians of the universe, and it will not stay like that. I swear, n

The two approached the well-dressed man leaning against the wall. As they got closer, they realized he was a man of about thirty, in good shape, with blue eyes and tanned skin. His brown hair fell in a curl in the middle."Hey, don't point that candle at my face!" "Didn't they teach you that you can burn people?" the man indicated.Hello, you. "Who are you and how did you get here?" asked Aiden. The man replied, "Well, my name is... my name is..."Every time he tried to say his name, he couldn't. After several failed attempts, just as he was about to pronounce it, a lump formed in his throat."Sorry, I don't know why I can't say my name. Or maybe I forgot it."Aiden looked him up and down and said, "Well, we'll call you Chad. You look like a Chad, like a character from a series we used to watch at the orphanage in secret. He was a guy who seemed like a kind of spy."Reia kept looking at him suspiciously. The man, now called Chad, said, "Alright, call me whatever you want, kid.""I'm t

Like two race cars, they both went at great speed. That was how everyone present saw the clash between Urion and the Galactic Wolf Podbe.Face to face, Urion used his new claw-shaped hands to inflict damage on the super-developed canine. However, the latter also protected himself from the guardian's slashes using his enormous claws on his front paws. Sparks flew every time these claws met; their strength was equal, as neither opponent's claws weakened nor broke.Urion realized that he couldn't win hand-to-hand or claw-to-claw combat unless he used another tactic. He decided to perform two somersaults in the air to maintain distance from his opponent. His arms began to move like waves, preparing to launch his arms from afar. Now that his tentacles were his arms, he could stretch them like those elastic superheroes from comics or a video game fighter.Podbe tried to block the attack as he did when the guardian was close, but every time Urion's hands approached, he showed a sinister smil

"Who is it? Who's calling me?" asked the dog."It's me, your friend Aiden," replied the boy."Is that you, Aiden? Where are you and where am I?" indicated Podbe."Yes, it's me. I don't know where you are, but I'm inside you because you ate me. Well, I'm fine, don't worry. Now I'm in your brain, more precisely in your mind, in the central core of the system.""You're in my brain? I ate you... I'm so sorry, Aiden. I only remember losing consciousness after the portal entity impaled me with its weapon and then everything went black. I'm in a dark place full of water," expressed the puppy."I thought I lost you, my friend, when that happened. But then you changed into a very large animal, like a lion, but in the form of a wolf that has the universe in its body, as if the cosmos were moving within you. You said dark place with water, like a swamp.""Wow! That sounds crazy. Me, transformed into a wolf? Who would have thought I'd love to see it, although I can't see anything where I am. Yes,

"Protocol activated, sequence initiated," said the monitor as Podbe completed his conversion to human. "User entered into the system, initiating beast activation," a bar quickly moved from zero to one hundred. "Host still in shock, healing process ongoing," a bar resembling dog paws running from zero slowly to twenty-five percent appeared on the screen."I see. I think this form of Podbe is like a safeguard," said Reia."A safeguard?" asked Aiden and Chad."Yes, it’s like a protection mechanism in case the host is seriously injured, similar to antibodies in the human system," explained Aiden."Exactly," she said, "they are protecting Podbe, trying to heal and stabilize him.""Wow! That’s the craziest thing I’ve heard, and at the same time, it’s awesome, don’t you think, Aiden?" said Chad."Yes, it’s awesome. It means my friend is invincible and can’t die," added Aiden."I wouldn’t say that," Reia noted. "Sorry to be a buzzkill, but if he dies in that way, he dies for good."Both the b

"I understand, let's finish this once and for all," said the dog. The wolf began to move again towards Urion; this time, the speed of the wolf-dog increased, and the guardian's retractable arms couldn't even land a hit. Left, right, it moved like a shooting star, dodging every attack that Urion launched with his whip-like arms, while firing disks from its paws shaped like galaxies aimed at the wicked being. Urion tried to land a blow, but it was in vain, and being exposed, he received each impact of the galaxy disk that Podbe the Wolf launched. The guardian began to accumulate wounds on his body from the constant attacks. Seeing that he could no longer use the same strategy and that it left him defenseless, he retracted his arms and launched a great ray from his eyes, stronger than the previous one. This ray seemed to contain all the guardian's hatred for not being able to finish off that animal. The ray grew with each moment until it reached the size of an elephant. "Die already!"

"Reia, Reia, it's you!" Aiden exclaimed while rubbing his eyes, thinking it was a dream. He couldn't believe she was in the real world, being a computer program or, well, artificial intelligence. "But, what are you doing here?" the boy asked, intrigued and astonished at the same time."I don't know," she replied, adding, "It seems like your wish came true. You wanted me to come with you, and poof, you materialized me here in the real world.""But, how is that possible?" he said."I don't know. I'm not a seer or a scientist, but I think I have an idea. When you touched me, you were imbued with that blue aura on your body, which made me appear by your side. I don't know how long what you did will last, but thanks. It's the first time I have been out of the system and, wow, it's a marvel. I never thought I'd see the sky up close, or the earth, or these stones," she said while beginning to touch the things on the ground. The atmosphere was thick with tension but also determination.“In the end, we had to go with Plan B. We should have done it from the start,” Paul muttered as he finished equipping himself with the last of the mission gear. His voice carried a barely concealed tone of frustration, as if internally grappling with the feeling of having lost control of the situation.Meanwhile, at the orphanage, night slowly descended upon the building. The director, known to all as the Mother Superior, stood before the children, who were gathered in perfectly aligned rows. With her characteristic serenity, she spoke the phrase that always accompanied their nightly farewells:“Everyone has the opportunity to have a new beginning. No matter where you are heading, if you move forward with love and happiness, you will always find a new dawn.”Her words r

It was a crisp morning, around ten o’clock, with a clear sky promising a sunny day. Both were dressed in outfits designed to make them look like an ordinary couple, disguised as people eager to adopt a child. Their vehicle, a modest but well-maintained blue van, stopped in front of the main entrance. Paul, who was behind the wheel, rolled down the window and addressed the gatekeeper in a friendly tone:“We’re here to complete an adoption,” he explained, though his expression quickly shifted from cordial to serious, almost irritated, when the man asked if they had an appointment. The woman, sensing Paul’s sudden change in demeanor

If you’d like, there’s also a guest bathroom downstairs, and I think there’s some of the clothes you left last time, Creg. Ian, you can use the clothes my brother doesn’t wear anymore; they’re about the same size as yours. It’s down that hallway.”Melisa went upstairs to shower, while the other two, driven by the hunger left by their adventure, began to eat, though Creg ate more than Ian. Afterward, they took turns showering and changing.Meanwhile, Melisa had finished showering and was drying her hair with the blow-dryer. She looked in her closet and began searching for her special outfit:

If anything happens to them, you will know the fury of our lord Zeus.”The soldier swallowed hard and nodded with a rigid movement of his head, hurrying to take the four containers away on a cart. These containers, resembling polarized capsules, held the four kidnapped youths.“Where are we, Doctor?” Swang asked.“Ah, that’s right, you don’t know this place. It’s a secret base known only to high command. This place is the most important to me. This is where it all began,” Doctor Laos said as he walked off the ship, followed by Doctor Swang, who watched him with a furrowed brow and a thoughtful expression. What does he mean, ‘where it all began’? She wonder

Inside the ship where the Zeus team was traveling, one of the guards noticed something strange. One of the injured, who had been motionless just moments ago, now seemed hypnotized, his eyes fixed on a broadcast playing on one of the monitors. The guard, curious, was also captivated by the screen.Zeus, who happened to be passing through the area at that moment, noticed the scene. Surely, with this, we'll get fired and bring down the agency," they said resignedly, because there was nothing they could do about it. With the helmet on, Leila could hear the voices and minds of all the people, even her teammates, who were also wearing visors and suffering greatly from the machine's power, which was draining their energies more intensely than before. Inside her, she began to tell herself: — "Come on, concentrate, relax." A memory came to her mind, in which she heard: — "Leila, transform the pain into happiness, relax, pay more attention to what surrounds you.
