Chapter 002 - I'm So Dead Today!

The speaker was an extraordinarily beautiful lady who has a killer body but a cold countenance.

As if she was a goddess, she trotted to the place, then it instantly became completely quiet and everybody turned their gazes filled with bright light and enviousness at her, but as if the beautiful lady wasn't aware, she ignored them all.

Her eyes abruptly furrowed slightly before reverting to the initial coldness in them.

“What's going on here?” She asked again, then Cliff Sotto hurriedly swirled around.

“Class President, what are you doing here?”

A bright flattery smile appeared on his face as he gazed at the beautiful lady before him, but what he got in response was an unchanging emotionless gaze.

“I ask you, what’s going on here?”

The smile on Cliff Sotto's face Immediately disappeared before his face became pitiful, then he pointed with a helpless countenance at Alex Johnson. “It was him. I don’t know what was going on with him that made him have suicidal thoughts. Could you imagine that this boy actually rode his bike into my car,” he sighed, looking like he was a good guy, the hero here.

“Thankfully, I pulled over quickly, or else, he would have been run over by now, but I’m a good person, so I was trying to check if he wasn’t harmed before you arrived just now.”

Even before Cliff Sotto finished what he was saying, all sorts of shock and disbelief expressions already surfaced on everybody's faces, and this included Alex Johnson.

But knowing Cliff Sotto's big background, nobody has the intention of casting his lies, and this was known well by Cliff Sotto which was why he wasn’t bothered.

As if a little puppy waiting to be praised, he continued watching the beautiful lady’s face with an expectant look in his eyes, but what he got was still an unchanging gaze.

The extraordinarily beautiful lady watched Cliff Sotto's face for a while before she eventually turned her gaze to Alex Johnson who was still in a kneeling position with a tragic expression on his face, then her face finally changed slightly.

“You okay, right?”

She stepped forward with concern, making Cliff Sotto's face directly flame up.

Upon hearing the melodious voice of his Class President, who had been his savior since his sophomore year until now, Alex Johnson let out a small sigh, then he nodded his head in agreement to her question.

“Yes, President, thanks for asking.”

The lady's eyes instantly trembled slightly, filled with pity.

Naturally, she was familiar with Alex Johnson as he was in her class and she had always empathized with him since he was constantly bullied by others. Therefore, she was very certain that Cliff Sotto’s allegations must completely be false, knowing that he was one of Alex Johnson’s biggest tormentors.

‘Why can’t this boy just stand up for himself once?! And how was he able to continuously endure this despite all these years?’

Gently shaking her head, Jewel Marshman regained her composure, then she pointed at Alex Johnson’s arms, which were now drenched in blood.

“Do you need to visit the medics about that?”

As soon as Alex Johnson heard the unexpected question, he was immediately reminded of the excruciating pain he was still experiencing. This caused him to flinch with intense discomfort, but he still managed to shake his head as recalled something far more significant that he couldn’t forget.

“No... I… I’m really okay. I… I need to get going now.”

“Huh?”

The beautiful maiden instantly furrowed her brows tightly, then she watched as Alex Johnson jumped to his feet while showing a tortured expression on his face before limping off to the things scattered on the floor, then parking them, he hopped back on his bike and circled it away as though he was being chased.

Watching Alex Johnson’s back as she peddled away for a while, Jewel Marshman frowned slightly, then she gently shook her head before turning around.

Once again, her eyes became utterly cold when she saw the disgusting smile on Cliff Sotto's face, but she has no intention of teaching him any lesson as she knew Alex would probably be the one to suffer its brunt.

“If you may, could you not drive too fast again in the future?”

The smile on Cliff Sotto's face instantly faltered slightly before directly returning, then he nodded his head.

“I… I wasn’t driving too fast, President. It was that boy that was trying to cause me an issue probably because he hates me.”

Hearing him, Jewel Marshman remained mute for a few seconds and only gaze expressionlessly at him, then she walked away.

From the beginning till the end, the crowd was completely quiet and only watched Jewel’s every movement with bright and wonder-filled eyes till she walked away.

“As expected of the school's belle, truly deserving of her reputation.”

“That's right. Apart from her extremely beautiful face she also has an aura of the boss lady of a huge consortium around her.”

“I almost wasn’t able to breathe just now while gazing at her.”

The crowd continued enthusiastically amongst themselves when they suddenly felt an extreme killing intent descending upon them.

Instantly, they kept quiet subconsciously before gazing instinctively toward the source, then they shivered.

“What occurred here today, if I so much hear about it at all, I shall hunt you all and your family down, is that clear?”

“Ye… yes sir.”

The crowd responded in unison with cold sweat covering their body.

Of course, they were honest with their response since they knew that Cliff Sotto meant exactly as he has threatened since he has once done that in the past.

Hearing their response and seeing their overtly scared expression, Cliff Sotto snorted coldly, then he stormed toward his car with a furious expression on his face.

“That bastard! I shall kill him the next time I saw him, how dare he make my future girlfriend see me as an evil person?”

He abruptly kicked his car angrily, causing a dent in it, but he simply acted like he doesn’t notice.

Opening the door, he entered and closed it with full force as if he was trying to break it apart, then he drove off hysterically.

Seeing all this as they transpired, the crowd exchanged gazes for a while, then pitiful expressions appeared on their faces.

“That boy is so dead,” someone muttered blankly to himself.

While all that was happening, Alex Johnson who was still containing the bone-piercing pain that could break someone apart finally reached his destination.

As if the pain wasn’t there at all, he threw his bike on the floor, carried the box which was still surprisingly in perfect shape, and then ran off toward a building.

But just as he was about to enter this building, he was shoved to the back and landed on his butt with a thud.

“Who are you and where do you think you are going?”

A rude voice returned him to the present, but the pain he felt thanks to the shove triggering the one he was initially feeling increased by several folds, so Alex Johnson couldn’t respond for a short while.

“Are you dumb, do you want me to throw you into detention? Who are you? You must be one of those homeless fools that had been invading the school and stealing students' things, right?”

“No…. No… no”

The tears he had been trying to hold since the beginning finally came gushing out of his eyes.

This cry wasn’t caused by how he was being treated, rather, it was because of the unbearable pain he was currently going through.

But when the middle-aged guard dressed in a blue shirt and black pants saw him like this, his lips formed a smirk before directly disappearing, then he snorted and his eyes became filled with disgust.

“Look at you, covered in filth and stink. How dare you say you weren’t one of the beggars that steals the students' things?”

He snapped, then Alex Johnson who hadn’t realized he was being played hurriedly waved his hand and fumbled for a while before removing two ID cards from his pants and showing them to go the guard.

“See, I’m a student of this school and also a pizza deliverer who’s here to deliver pizza to someone.”

Just as he was trying as much as he could to make the Middle-aged man believe him, Alex saw the sudden smirk that appeared on his face, then he became stomped and his head rang.

‘How couldn’t I have realized I was being played?! Wasn’t he also in their group? Of course, he would have been ordered to also trash me,’ Alex abruptly sighed to himself, then he forced himself to stand up without making another sound.

“Sir, I’m already late, could I go deliver this pizza first?”

The middle-aged man's lips Immediately raised, not caring about what Alex thought of him, then he snorted again and walked inside, indirectly informing Alex to go do whatever he want.

Seeing this, Alex sighed again, then his eyes suddenly glanced up and widen.

“I'm so dead today!”

A nervous expression instantly overtook the torturous expression on his face, then he limp-ran inside as if his life depended on it, making the middle-aged man that could have been his father's age gaggle hysterically.

“Fool!” he spat to himself, then an excited look appeared on his face.

“Young master Poole would be happy with this delay, right? Then he would be giving me five percent of his win, hahaha, I’m so smart.”
