Isaacson turned to Clayton with his brows raised in question, and he asked,
“Son, does this have anything to do with this dumb brain?” Clayton did not for once hesitate to say what he had in mind. He hated his terrible state and couldn't wait to punish Caspian for what he had done. “No, Mr. Hartford, he did not. I unexpectedly fell down the stairs in the corridor. That got me these bruises. But it's fine; it won't take time before it'll heal,” Clayton replied. Isaacson nodded, and he sighed. “I'm truly sorry you have to encounter that at your canteen; I'll make sure the stairs are renovated. Rest assured, it won't happen again.” Isaacson said, and Clayton could only nod as he glowered with a grimace at Caspian. Caspian jubilated in his heart. His excitement could not even be hidden behind his expressionless face. “I feel sorry for him.” Caspian muttered; he continued to clean up the place and did not mind their emotional bantering. Finishing up his assigned cleaning duties, Caspian took the cleaning tools and was ready to return them to the janitor's room; however, on his way, he was pulled into a dark room. Caspian was shocked to see Clayton. He had been the one who had dragged him inside. He glared at Clayton and asked, “What do you want?” “Oh!! What do I want? Are you trying to act like nothing happened?” Clayton snickered in annoyance. Caspian looked around the room. It was the storage room where the raw food items were kept. He scrunched his nose, disliking the smell of the room. “Yes, Clayton, I do not understand what you are talking about; please let go of my shirt.” Caspian demanded looking serious and unfriendly. Clayton laughed and scoffed. He then sent a harsh kick at Caspian's knee and a blow to his shoulder. Caspian fell and groaned in pain. He got up from the ground and punched Clayton's face. Clayton staggered backward. He placed his plan on his nose and saw blood. His nose is bleeding. Clayton growled. “Fuck! What does a damn nobody like you have to do to think you can match up with me? I see that I've been lenient on your fried brain.” Saying that Clayton proceeded to Caspian's position. He grabbed his shirt and pinned him to the wall. Clayton then went on to beat him black and blue. He whacked his head on Caspian's face. He scratched his shoulders and continuously kicked his knees. “This is just the beginning of your miserable life. You have messed with the wrong person, and I shall deal with you. Little boys like you should learn to have respect for senior men like me. I'd make sure you regret ever raising your hands to hit me.” Concluding his statement, Clayton lets go of Caspian's shirt and then spats on him. He turned and began to leave. Just then, the system notification rang again. < < < < Knowing that he has been tasked with another mission, Caspian, who was lying on the ground, feels energetic once again. He felt replenished and got up from the ground. He rushed over to block Clayton's way, his two hands spread apart to prevent him from moving forward. Caspian jubilated inwardly. He thought that it didn't matter to him who was behind the mission, but this was giving him much relief from the pain he had gone through. He had endured all insults for money and terror, and now he is getting money to bring back his self-respect. Caspian thought that he would stop hesitating about completing any mission he was assigned. He'll just go ahead and keep on completing each task as long as there's an endless flow of money in his account; he doesn't mind getting into trouble. “Shit! Get out!” Clayton frowned. He pushed Caspian on the chest, making him fall and step back. “Now I understand; you are gay, and you've fallen helplessly in love with me. You were just using Sarah, baby, to cover up the fact that you only fuck male A**s. Well, get this straight: I am not gay, and I do not participate in any gay relationships or activities. So freaking get lost.” Shouting his lungs out, Clayton made to push Caspian again, but Caspian skillfully moved away to the side. He chuckled and leaned against the wall. This got Clayton mad. “Clayton, don't you think you have made yourself a joke for me to fall in love with if I indeed am gay?” Caspian mocked, and he laughed. Despite the hurt he feels in his face and jaws each time he smiles, he still does not stop smiling. “As a gay, I'd reject any guy like you because eventually I'll end up at the bottom and you at the top, and I unfortunately do not like the bottom position when I do the deed.” He added and he laughed at his words. He grinned at Clayton, whose face was not looking great, and continued to speak. “But you see, I'm not gay, and I do not like you. Even as a lady, I will think twice before accepting to date you. I believe and confidently assert that my looks are way more charming, handsome, refined, and charismatic than yours. Look here; aside from your money and influence, I don't see any reason why anyone would want to date you. Because you will be no better than I am now, a lowly and poor person with no positive future!” Caspian spat. His eyes held disdain and visible disrespect. He seemed to not care about whatever Clayton might do as he continued to taunt him. “You won't dare repeat the statements, loner.” Clayton shrieked, his anger and threat clear and audible in his tone. He had never thought about how pathetic his life might become if he eventually lost all he had gotten from his wealthy family. The thought of finding himself in Caspian's shoes one day got him to the edge of his sanity. ‘It will never happen.’ Clayton thought in a grimace with knitted brows as he glared at Caspian. “I dare say it now means I'll say it again and again. It's the truth, and you know that. We all know that the truth is always bitter, but it never changes.” Hearing Caspian's bold and sarcastic words of mockery, Clayton couldn't accept them and rushed to fight him off. Caspian swerved around, avoiding Clayton's blow. He maneuvered around and kicked Clayton's buttocks. Caspian did not stop but proceeded to hit Clayton behind the neck. The blow was a harsh and hard one that sent Clayton into the abyss of endless darkness. Shocked, Caspian stared at the unconscious Clayton and went to check his breath. Seeing that he was alive and breathing, he sneakily left the room.Striding out of the food storage room, Caspian unexpectedly bumped into Jason, whom he sees standing by the door.It was evident that Jason had been eavesdropping on their conversation. Jason stared at Caspian with a slightly complicated emotion. He then embraced him in a tight hug, which Caspian did not see coming. Jason pulled away, and he grinned sheepishly at Caspian.“You were so brave in there,”He commended Caspian, and Caspian chuckled and scratched his head.“Someone needs to remind him that not everything will remain the same forever. I'm glad you were able to. I just pray he listens and changes.”Jason continued to speak, and Caspian smiled. His eyes lingered on the young guy in front of him.Jason is 1.8 meters tall, slightly taller than him. His masculine, firm cheekbones down to his shaped jaws are straight and firm. His eyes were a pair of bottle greens, and his nose was sharp and straight. His lips were pinkish and slightly plump. This handsome dude has a straight figu
Manager Bello led Caspian to a private room, where he began to explain the situation. “Mr. Grey Hastings, it seems that a large sum of money has been deposited into your account from an untraceable source. Our system automatically froze the account pending further investigation.”Caspian nodded, intrigued. “I see. And what does this mean for me?”Manager Bello smiled. “Well, Mr. Grey Hastings, it means that you now have a substantial amount of wealth at your disposal. We'll need to discuss investment options and…”Caspian interrupted, a sly grin spreading across his face. “I think I'll manage, thank you. Just unfreeze the account and give me access.”Manager Bello raised an eyebrow but nodded. “Very well, Mr. Grey Hastings. But please, be cautious. Your new financial status may attract unwanted attention.”Caspian chuckled, a cold glint in his eye. “I can handle myself, Manager Bello. Don't worry about me.”With that, the account was unfrozen, and Caspian left the bank with a spring i
He looked behind him at the path Isaacson Hartford had gone through, and his eyes widened in disbelief.Everything was clear, like broad daylight. How could such a disgusting event take place in such a prestigious place? Obviously, Isaacson thought he could easily get away with it.Caspian, unable to look further, reached for his shirt. He took it off, leaving himself with his white undershirt, and gave the shirt to the lady.Scrutinizing Caspian, who wasn't looking her way but was stretching out his shirt to her, Susan Lee cowered back in fear. She did not move forward to accept his clothing.Susan peeked at her clothes, which were torn into almost shreds; her eyes immediately welled up with tears again as she began to sob.Caspian sighed; he didn't know what to do at this point and felt it would be best if Susan put on his clothes to cover her exposed body. But seeing that she was not accepting the shirt, he turned and stared at her with a gentle smile.“Have this to cover yourself
Caspian clasped his palms together, and his eyes blazed with vengeance. He couldn't wait to complete this mission and expose Isaacson, while at the same time leveling up and earning more income.Caspian turned and stared at Susan. He walked up to her and pulled her from her shoulder. Staring deep into her gray orbs, Caspian asked:“Do you want to get justice for yourself? I can help you out.”Susan quivered immediately. She sat back on the rock and cowered, tears streaming as she looked at the ground while shaking her head.“No… no! I'm not interested in doing that; I'm going to fail if I do, and no one will believe me if I say anything bad against Mr. Isaacson.”She mumbled. Caspian strode to her, bent to her sitting height, and placed his hands against the tree.“It's okay; do not cry anymore.”He said this to her and wiped her tears away. Caspian couldn't hide how sympathetic he felt towards her situation.“Look here, Miss. I know you don't want to do this, and I know you are silly
Laughing, Isaacson Hartford hung up the call, and Susan was gritting her teeth at his shamelessness.‘What does it mean by what we've started?’ She thought in annoyance.Susan stared at her phone. She moved her gaze to Caspian, and he nodded.Caspian inserted his hands in his pants pocket, brought out a small device that couldn't be easily detected, and handed it to her.“Attach this to your bag and click the red button once he arrives at the venue. Don't worry, I've got everything planned out.”Caspian again reassured. Susan took a deep breath and decided she'd trust him.Besides, she had no other choice but to do so, as she had accepted his offer to end the frivolous, lackadaisical man.“Alright, I'll contact the number you gave me when I get there. Please do well to come in fast; I don't want to get into a scandal.”Susan reminded him, and Caspian smiled without saying a word.A smile that explains everything without the need to path his lips.A smile that could calm the brewing st

How about an upgrade? Caspian thought. He paused and stared at his reflection in the window of a car that was parked along the roadside. He looked down at his phone and felt more certain about how necessary an upgrade was required.“Hey, are you going somewhere?” a cab driver asked, his head poking out through his wind-down car window.“Yes, the central mall. If that isn't too far,” Caspian responded.“It's all about the money, boy. Hop in if you've got ten pounds.”“Man, that's a lot of charges for that distance. Cut it down…” Although he now had money, it didn't mean he should spend
“Hello, Mister, I'm sorry, but I don't think you belong in this section of the mall. This is a high-end store, and I'm not sure you can afford anything here.”Caspian raised an eyebrow, taken aback by the salesperson's rudeness. Excuse me? I'm just browsing, thank you very much. And I can afford whatever I want.”The salesperson smirked. “Really? Or do you just want to steal?”Caspian chuckled, amused by the salesperson's audacity. “Oh, wow, you really are something else. I'm just browsing, and you assume I'm a thief? That's rich.”The salesperson's smirk faltered for a moment, but she quickly recovered. “Well, excuse me for being cautious. We can't have just anyone in here, can we? Especially not someone dressed like you.”Caspian shrugged, unfazed. “I suppose not. But judging a book by its cover? Definitely poor judgment. Also, I'm not just anyone. I'm a paying customer, and I deserve some respect.”The salesperson snorted. “Respect? Do you think you deserve respect? You're probably
“Oh, thank you so much! I don't know what happened. One minute I was walking down the escalator and the next...I don't know, it just stopped working!”Caspian smiled and helped himself up from the ground. “You're welcome, ma'am. I'm just glad I was here to help. It was just a malfunction, but it could have been worse if there were more people on it. Get welfare maintenance to fix it.”“Of… course, immediately.”She nodded and then turned to another sales person. “Where is Goodwill?” She demanded.“Manager Goodwill has not come to the mall for almost two weeks now. I heard he went out of town with his new chick. I've been in charge of his duties, you can let me know what you need, madam.”The woman's expression turned red upon hearing that. “What did you just say? He's been gone for two weeks without notice? Unacceptable!”She quickly pulled out her phone and dialed a number. “Hello, Madam. Good day. How may I help you?”“Where are you?” she asked in a bland tone.“Where else should I
