With the still morning sun now shining down on the remains of the orphanage, the nuns and children help arrange the salvageable items into their cart when Alana and Levi approached them, both wearing a new set of clean clothes and their cloaks on their shoulders.

Theresa nods at Eliza who moves to help the children board the cart before turning to the two. “You two look nice.” Theresa said.

Alana and Levi share a quick smile before turning to the cart where a boy began to cry after hitting his hand on the cart. As Eliza comforts him, Levi speaks, getting Theresa’s attention. “I’m really sorry about all this.”

Theresa chuckles softly before placing her hand on his shoulder. “Those evil men would have eventually destroyed the orphanage regardless of your actions.”
