Chapter 153; Threats

At first there was nothing. Just a dark pitch black void as far as the eyes can see… then a bright white light slowly comes into focus.

It takes some seconds before the white-haired figure on the bed realised he was staring at a ceiling.

“Levi.” He turns to the side to see Alana, Hana and Felix smiling at him. He slowly sits up when he recalls the events before he lost consciousness before wincing at the pain in his casted leg. “It’s still healing, Levi.” Hana said as she helps him settle back on the bed.

Levi looks around the small room before speaking. “Where are we?”

“The Chief’s house.” Felix mumbled from his seated position at the edge of the bed.

“We’ll head to the main base once we’re done taking care of the last of the Empire forces here.” Hana said.

Levi leans his head back on the pillow, his brows furrowed and his eyes closed as he recalls the fight with Thors. “What happened to that thing?” Levi asked.
