Chapter 164; Reconnect 2

Early the next morning, Alana was already dressed up in a slick dark blue denim jeans, leather jacket and black shirt with a symbol of a heart struck by lightning.

She smiles at the meaning of her shirt as she turns to see Levi still asleep on the bed. She moves over and gives his forehead a long loving kiss.

“I love you, babe.” Alana whispered as she rubs his forehead before moving away to grab her backpack from the dresser when she heard his muffled voice.

“Love… you.” She turned only see that he replied in his sleep. She smiles warmly at him and quietly exits the room where she finds Camie, with some bandages on her body and Mary already ready in the hallway.

“Alright ladies. Let’s go.” Alana said with a smirk and the two agents nod as they followed Alana down the hallway……

Hours of driving and flying later, standing on the sidewalk, Alana now wearing dark shades, stares at a familiar brothel now partially collapsed and deserted under the late afternoon sun.
