Somewhere within a secret Index base, Levi stares at the boy who had just transformed into a full grown teenager.
As Levi continues to stare in complete stunned silence, the boy raises a brow at him. “What? Never seen a shape-shifter paratron before?”
The one-eyed man behind him lets out a sigh and speaks up. “Did you really have to do that?”
The boy laughs and throws a cocky smile over his shoulder. “Of course. It’s more fun this way.”
“But…” Levi trails off, lost at words as he looks between the boy and the agent behind. “Then who-” He asked, pointing to the man but the door to the room slides open again and Levi’s eyes widen when he recognizes the figure stepping into the room.
