Chapter Eighteen

“I know you have gotten to some classes but do you now come to places like this?” Stella scoffed in surprise.

“Who brought you here? This is not a place for slum men.” She spat at his face disrespectfully.

“Have you started again? I’m reserving my comment because today is a good day and I have a date.” He said boldly.

“A date?” Stella laughed. “You? Who would go out with you?” Stella questioned disgustingly as she rolled her eyes all over him.

“Mr. Richester or whatever you call yourself, you have no reservation here.” The receptionist began. “Please leave before I call the security.” She said conclusively.

Stella couldn’t help but laugh as she pompously placed her debit card on the counter.

“What is going on here?” A voice came from behind them and each step that the woman took, the sound of her heels could be heard. They turned.

“Boss.” The receptionist bowed courteously while trembling.

“I asked a question, didn’t I?” The woman made a comeback.
