Chapter Fifty-Nine

“What have we done? What have we really done?” Leonard rubbed his hands together while Amanda paced in the office.

“It’s not our fault, is it?” Amanda questioned.

“Well, I was the front head.” He exhaled sharply. “I sold the hospital.” He was feeling guilty.

“Right? So, it isn’t my fault.” Amanda tried to rattle out.

“Amanda, we are in this together. You approved it.” He reminded her seriously.

“It was agreed on, the majority carried the votes, mine didn’t count.” She batted her lashes before she sighed. “But, what’s happening here? Does this mean we can’t invest with him again or something?” She raised a brow, with anxiety lingering in her eyes.

“Not that.” He began. “I think we have been added to the hospital’s black list.” He said abruptly.

“That’s bad.” She groaned. “What about Richester? Have you seen or met with him?” She asked cryptically and he shook his head.
