Chapter Ninety-Seven

“Mum, why are you screaming? What is it?” Stella asked anxiously, staring at her mother intently.

“Where is it? Who took the stuff that I kept!?” Madam Harriet barked at their faces.

“What stuff?” Damien questioned.

Madam Harriet exhaled sharply when she realized that none of them had an idea where she had kept it, not even Stella. She was only wailing her tail without a master.

“Mum, are you okay?” Stella snapped her out of her thoughts.

“I - -, did someone come here?” Madam Harriet stammered.

“Someone?” They rubbed their chin.

“I didn’t see anyone here when I came in.” Bianca rattled out with her hands in the air.

“That reminds me.” Stella began and everyone faced her. “The security at the entrance told me something about a burglary in our mansion,” Stella informed her.

“Burglary?” Madam Harriet gasped, her eyes shooting sharp daggers at Damien and Stella. “Why didn’t anyone inform me?!” She queried with a loud voice.

“That’s because it wasn’t necessary.” Damien found his voice back
