Chapter Seventy-One

“Stella, I have warned you severally to stop getting ahead of yourself.” Madam Harriet scorned her. “Do you know what you cost me?” She raised a brow, staring at her daughter in disgust.

“I don’t understand you anymore.” Stella shook her head in disbelief. “When did you turn into a murderer?” She asked in annoyance and Madam Harriet approached her, lifting her chin with a finger.

“Better keep your mouth shut and stop rapping! It can cost you your life.” Madam Harriet barked.

She was scared and tried to push Stella’s mind from following up the case because she knew her daughter might end up losing her life.

“I want nothing but an explanation as to why you did what you did.” Stella curled her lips and her mother fling her face away, walking away from her.

“Stella, I think it’s time you go for vacation with your dear husband.” Madam Harriet exhaled sharply and immediately Stella sprang up from the seat.
