Chapter Ninety-Nine

“Didn’t the doctor also tell you that I wouldn’t be able to give birth again? What can you do with a barren woman?” Melanie’s statement continuously banged in his head.

No matter how hard he tried to forget about it, he couldn’t. There was deep meaning in what she said. It was also something meaningful that he had to debate upon but he couldn’t risk losing her.
