Chapter One Hundred & Eighteen

“Good morning, babe.” He kissed her on the forehead.

“I know I’m one of those women whose husbands are workaholics.” She grumbled as she gradually opened her eyes.

“Don’t say that, sweetheart.” He chuckled. “Anyways, Dennis will be here to drop you in the family house.” He informed her warmly.

“Family house?” She peeped him through his arm. “Don’t tell me you want me to stay in Jackie-Ville's family house.” It was obvious that she was protesting against it but she didn’t raise her voice. He laughed.

“Is that my house? Of course not, our family house. Jamal.” He emphasized his statement and she smiled.

“So, you want to leave now?” She raised a brow.

“Want something?” He stood up from the bed, while she wrapped herself with the duvet and sat upright.

“I wanted you to stay for a while. I miss you already.” She groaned and he chuckled, sitting beside her on the bed.

“What? You know how all this is going to end.” He kissed her neck and leaned over her. “Or- - do you want to get pregnant?”
