“There must be a mix-up somewhere, I don't know you.” Clara responded hastily.

“Yes, she can't be the person you have seen,” Martins agreed.

Nathan kept staring at Clara, he couldn't seem to discern where and how their path crossed but he knew he had seen her before.

“I just relocated to New York,” Clara established.

She didn't want Nathan ruining her plans so she prayed he would let it slide.

Nathan didn't respond, instead, he just walked away.

“People look like people anyways” Martins scoffed and shrugged.

Nathan was acting weird recently and Martins wondered why.

“And I'm a tourist so it's normal to hear things like this sometimes” Clara lied.
