Chapter One Hundred & Ninty-Eight

When Jamal got home, he was welcomed by his wife, Melanie. She took his clothes off and ran him water to bathe. She did seem bothered, her face would be bright and the next minute, it became grumpy again but she did a good job at hiding it. She knew that if she brought up the topic of having kids and trying other means, she would get the same reply that she had been getting.

" Are you okay?" she asked her husband who did not look okay as well. She hid the way she was feeling but Jamal could not hide his own. His face held so much worry.
