Chapter Seventy-Three

Just as he wanted, they fell for his trick and he was ever ready to try them wherever they were going.

“Have you called him?” Madam Theresa shrugged with her eyes scanning the isolated hallway.

“He said he will be here in a few minutes, we just have to wait.” Madam Felicia said, her eyes looking left and right while hitting her phone softly on her palm.

Meanwhile, at the other corner, Jamal was dressed in a completely black outfit and nose mask. He pinned his back behind a long van that gave him a clear view of what they were doing; he could also hear what they were saying - maybe not so clear.

“Do you think he is trying to stand us up?” Madam Theresa panicked more than the person in question, Madam Felicia sighed in disgust.

“Will you calm down and wait? Don’t poke me, it’s not like I’m with him there.” Madam Felicia was so annoyed that she yelled at her co-wife in anger.

They were the only ones in the creepy street and all they heard were rustles and weird sounds which scared them.
