Chapter Sixty-Nine

“Young master, are you alright?” Dennis rushed into the hospital injury ward, he saw Jamal and Melanie sitting on the bed while the nurses tended to their skin injuries.

“I’m fine.” He said, flashing him a smile.

“What happened? How did this happen?” Dennis inquired impatiently.

Maybe in the entire planet, he was the one person who meant a lot to Jamal and also cared so much for him.

“They did it.” He mumbled only to Dennis hearing while Melanie gave them a somewhat look.

“Don’t worry, we will be fine.” Her voice found its way to the conversation, trying to assure Dennis.

“Do it.” He commanded Dennis seriously.

“Do what?” She grabbed his hand resting on his knee.

“It’s none of your business.” He smiled, changing his facial expression as soon as he faced Dennis.

“Yes, sir.” Dennis nodded, bowed, and left the hospital.

Melanie wondered what he was up to while looking at him in silence.

“Sir, you both are fine and can be discharged today.” The nurse informed him courteously and he stood
