Chapter Sixty-Two
“You are leaving for the States?” The board of directors questioned him almost at the same time and he nodded.

“Yes, I have to. It’s necessary.” He said.

“Can we at least know the reason for your leave? Fifteen days without you in this company will be hell.” Leo courteously begged for a valid reason even when he knew it was not necessary because he had the right to leave.

“It’s concerning my health.” He began. “All messages and business information should be transferred to Dennis as he will be acting as me till my return.” He paused. “Of course, Mr. Leo can also tend to the ones he can carry but for those fifteen days, I will be strictly unavailable.” He meticulously explained to them.

“Sure then. We wish you the best and a safe trip.” They said in unison as he controlled himself out of the meeting room, meeting with Melanie who was waiting for him outside.

“How was it?” She asked him, walking beside him in the hallway.

“They agreed. But, I feel reluctant to leave, you know.” He frowne
