Chapter Two Hundred & Fifty-Five

“You can not leave this place, do you understand, that is some sort of trap,” Dave said as he held her hands and took her inside the house.

“Call him, let him know you would not be coming, and tell him you just got to a hotel room to relax a bit”

Paula called him and told him that she had gone to a hotel to spend the night. He was furious, he began to yell at Paula. Dave took the phone from her and ended the call.

“We should sleep, Jamal has a place for us tomorrow.” He climbed on the bed. Paula was still standing with her phone in her hand. She went to bed and kept her phone on the table.

She climbed on the bed and got into a sleeping position.

The next morning, Reuben had a big headache. He felt like his head was going to fall out. He held his head as he searched the cupboard for pills to take.
